Experiments
During the experimental phase of !MPACT, we have used, created, and optimized many different protocols. As we know that having a neat and organized protocol bundle is very helpful to every iGEM team, we have created two protocol bundles as another contribution to the iGEM community! The first bundle is targeted towards use in a bacterial lab, which we call the "BioLab" (including restriction, ligations, gels, transformations and PCR reactions). The second bundle is targeted towards use in a mammalian cell lab, which we call the "CellLab" (including transfections, SEAP and ELISA assays, and flow cytometry).
We tried our best to make the protocols as clear and elaborate as possible by including the estimated bench and overall time, supplies needed and precautions to take (if necessary). We truly hope that the upcoming iGEM teams can use these protocol bundles as support during their lab adventures! Good luck in the lab!
