inov3PT is the research entity of FN3PT, the French agricultural professionnal organization for potato seeds, that gathers and coordinates the activity of French certified producers of potato plants. They were a key sponsor for our team, as they quickly showed interest in our project, and as well as funding, helped show us how our tool could have an important application in agriculture.
bioMérieux SA is a French multinational biotechnology company who presents itself as a leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics. We were lucky enough to receive the 2022 iGEM impact grant, alongside 89 other teams! We find their objective of “positively impacting the world, one local problem at a time” as being perfectly aligned with the issue our project is attempting to tackle. INSA Lyon is an engineering school where most of the students of our team study. The Biosciences department allowed us to stay after-hours so that we could work on our project. They also lent us material for our enzymology experiments.
