Wet Lab

Responsible for the communication between the experimental group and the other groups. Complete part of the wiki writing work.
Linhao Lou Member of the Wet Lab group In charge of the experiment,principal contribution is the front part of experimental process,Recombinase Polymerase Amplification.More contribution is exploring the system of Recombinase Polymerase Amplification.

Jiada Li

Thanks Dr. Li for providing a comfortable scientific research environment and fully supporting us to complete the project. He checked the whole process of our project and actively provided the latest scientific research progress. Suggestions and feedback on professional issues related to the project.

Shanin Li

Thanks to Dr. Li for his contribution to team building in the early stage of the project. The review and recommendation of team members, as well as the team registration fee and project registration fee were strongly supported by her. Inquire the project progress regularly and urge the project to advance steadily.

Chiyu Li

Thanks Dr. Li for his help in experimental design and experimental technology. He organized and participated in every group meeting, put forward questions and suggestions to the existing design, and helped us check the correctness of selected components and the feasibility of the project flow chart. He taught us new experimental technique and also corrected some of our non-standard experimental operations, which greatly improved the success rate of our experiments. In data processing, he taught us rigorous scientific research drawing and data processing methods and kept improving.

Zhuo Li

Thanks to Dr. Li for his help and guidance in the experiment. In the early stage of the project, he introduced the experimental theoretical knowledge of CRISPR-Cas system for us. In the middle of the project, he was interviewed by us and gave us patient and detailed answers about the problems we encountered in the experiment of CRISPR system. Later in the project, he reviewed our project results and gave reasonable suggestions.

Zhengqing Wan

Thanks to Dr. Wan for his help with the experiment. His early work on echinococcus laid the foundation for our project. At the same time, he participated in many discussions of the experimental group and put forward appropriate suggestions for improvement. He attaches great importance to experimental safety and provides us with very important instructions for filling out safety form and check form.

Ye Liang

Thank Dr. Liang for providing many suggestions for the work of the modeling group. He provided suggestions on modeling direction and learning suggestions from the perspective of interdisciplinary. He participated in group meetings and followed the progress of the work in real time.

Lu Xia

Thanks to Dr. Xia for her help in the experiment. She put forward many useful and efficient suggestions for us. Moreover, she always participates in our group meetings and puts forward useful suggestions for our experimental scheme and specific implementation measures.

Thanks to Xingjun Zhao, Chengping Yu, Shuwen Li, Xingchen Zeng, Zeyuan Wang for their excellent advice at all stages of the project and for facilitating the progress of the project. In the process of team building, project implementation, and results presentation, they shared examples and experiences to help us avoid detours. We continue to improve the project in our communication with them.

Thanks to Shuyi Chen, Zhuoyao Li as well for their advices and suggestions for our work in human practices field. They shared their experiences during past years of competition and gave us useful advices on how we should conduct our work, how should we organize these activities and achieve a more efficient science popularization along with reminding us to pay more attention to ethical problems we might be facing and make sure our project meet the ethical standards.

Thanks to Ting Wu, she gave us a lot of help during the experiment. She taught us many experimental techniques. She put forward many useful and efficient suggestions for us. Moreover, she always participates in our group meetings and puts forward useful suggestions for our experimental scheme and specific implementation measures.

4: Partner

In the course of the competition, we have conducted in-depth cooperation in various aspects such as experiment, modeling, human practices and so on. NUDT_CHINA provided us with the plasmid sequence to express CRISPR-Cas12a protein.

In September, we had an offline communication, when the project of the two teams had basically finished, this meeting made both sides aware of the shortcomings of their own project, so as to improve the project. Thanks to Teachers Xinyuan Qiu, Wenying Li, Chuanyang Liu and members of NUDT_CHINA Team for their many valuable suggestions, which allowed us to optimize and improve our project.

On the whole, this year's partnership with NUDT_CHINA played a significance role not only in project designing and conducting but also in human practices proceeding.

They are professionals in wet lab works, who we have been studying from since the beginning of our work. Prof. Huang is a expert in RPA. Dr. Li and Dr. Zeng are experts of CRISPR-Cas system. They have given us important suggestions and advice for us to finish and improve our work.

Dr. Tiemin Jiang, General Surgeon from the 1st Hospital affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University. We have learned local situation of echinococcosis in Xinjiang from him and he has given us suggestions from the angle of a general surgeon, who often operates for echinococcosis patients. Also, from him, we have learned how the Xinjiang residents may think about our project and what their problems for getting diagnosis and treatments are.

Dr. Chong Li, General Surgeon from the 1st Hospital affiliated to Nanhua University. Dr. Li is a doctor aid to Tibet from Hunan who has been working in Tibet for the past year. As what we learned from Dr. Jiang for Xinjiang residents, we also learned those information about Tibetan residents from Dr. Li. Also, we have learned that for Tibetan residents who may have different culture with us, diagnosis and treatment should be as less invasive as possible to make sure patients can accept them and can get the proper medical care.

Dr.Di Zhang , Medical Examiner from the 3rd Xiangya Hospital affiliated to Central South University. We have interviewed him to know about clinical situation for a diagnostic technique and the problem doctors are facing during their clinical work. To make our project more practical and to make sure this technique can be put into use in the future, we collected his opinions and suggestions to give feedback to our wet lab and improved our work.

Snayongzong, Local resident. Snayongzong is Tibetan resident living in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, where also is an epidemic area for echinococcosis. She told us what residents’ problems are in terms of medical care and disease controlling. Also, with her experience working in local CDC before retirement, she has given us suggestions from a CDC staff’s point of view.

Prof. Xing Liu, Department of Medical Ethics. We have learned what we should do and how to meet the ethical standards from him and checked our work to make sure there is no ethical problem for our project.

Biological Competition Section and faculty and staff in Changjun High School. They participated in our synthetic biology popularization activity.

Changsha Special Education School and ERASE music society from Central South University. They gave us the chance to get close to children in special education school and teach them basic biology and synthetic biology knowledge.

Central South University Debate Team. We have cooperated with them to held an interesting debate competition about our project from which we have gained a lot of useful opinions from university students in non-medical and non-biological majors.
