Windi (you can pronounce her name like "windy", the weather), is currently studying Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology Master Program at Leiden University. She is really interested in biotechnology especially related to human health and the development of new medicine or treatment. In our team, Windi has a role as the Communication Manager.

Moor finished her Bachelor’s Life Science & Technology. She loves learning about life on a molecular level and applying this in her bachelor’s thesis, where she developed an assay to measure DNA bridging. During iGEM she developed her creative side as the design manager of the team.

Matthijs is doing his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is a third year Biology student who is very interested in synthetic biology and genetic engineering. Understanding how and why things work is what he loves. He also really likes working with new technologies, computers and software. This makes him a perfect fit for the Programming manager of the team.

Zainab is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology. For her first internship, she focused on the interaction between wall-less bacteria and the immune system. She is currently working on studying archaeal hypernucleosomes. She enjoys writing about science and is our wiki manager.
