Our team has made contributions to the iGEM community in three significant areas: crowdfunding, nanoparticle production, and modeling
On this page we show the contributions that we have made to the iGEM community. During our project we encountered some challenges, and gained valuable experience by solving them. We want to pass this knowledge onto future iGEM teams. Therefore, we have developed a crowdfunding guide as many teams set up crowdfunding to finance their project. This guide helps future teams in navigating the process of setting up a crowdfunding campaign. Furthermore, we created a guide for the production of nanoparticles. When working with nanoparticles you have to consider a great number of aspects and safety risks. To make this process easier for teams wanting to work with nanoparticles, this guide describes what conditions are needed to create certain nanoparticles and what safety measures will need to be taken. Lastly, we also created a step-by-step guide that gives insight to future teams on how to apply the statistical model called Box-Behnken Design to their project.
Many iGEM teams set up crowdfunding to help finance their project. This comes with quite a few, maybe unexpected challenges. This guide helps future teams in navigating the process of setting up a crowdfunding campaign.

On our Modeling page we’ve included a step-by-step plan on how to apply Box-Behnken Design to your experiments. This guideline not only gives future teams an idea of how to use the software, but also outlines how to choose your factors, their values, and what to do after you’ve obtained your data. Overall, the guideline makes it possible for future teams to prevent them from making the same mistakes we did and to build upon our knowledge.
