First article
Al-Watan newspaper wrote about us, the team construction, and our journey to participate in IGEM with our project about the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. They wrote about the most important awards we received in our journey and the problems we face in the process of financial support.
Second article
Osoul Misr Magazine also wrote about us in the same aspects.
We started our social media on 8-4-2021, and we aimed to introduce ourselves and raise awareness on synthetic biology, iGEM, dry lab, wet lab, and Dementia, specifically our project about AD. As our team’s original name is Pharaohs and our logo is a resemblance to this identity with the Sphinx in it, we had just the perfect opportunity to let everyone know about the team. On the day of Egypt’s Pharaohs’ golden parade, the 25 members changed their profile picture on Facebook to our logo as the first step to marketing our page.
After that, we invaded our social media with tons of teaching material about everything concerning us, synbio, iGEM, Biotechnology, and our project. In addition, we weren’t only focusing on educatory subjects for university students but also for kids, secondary schools, and high school students, as well.
