Donovan is a third year Science student with a double major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Neuroscience.
Donovan's dream 3-course meal would be a nice creamy lobster bisque soup followed by really tender slow cooker beef with lots of veggies and served with mash potatoes. A single slice of watermelon for dessert.
Jackie is a third year Science student with a double major in Medicinal Chemistry and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She loves music, nature, and swimming.
Jackie's dream 3-course meal would be a dose of sunshine, a dose of laughter, and a dose of sleep!

Jess's dream 3-course meal includes an appetiser - Vegan fried chicken from the now forever closed Vegan Fried Chicken shop in Sydney, a main - Crayfish n noodles, and a dessert - Mendl's Courtesan au Chocolat from The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Kawana is a third year Science student with a double major in Microbiology and Genetics and Genomics.
Kawana's dream 3-course meal would be IV saline, followed by an iron infusion and a kidney transplant.
Kiran is a third year Science student with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a minor in Data Science. He enjoys trains, J-pop, sushi and copious amounts of instant coffee.
Kiran's dream 3-course meal includes an entree of miso soup, a main of a massive sushi nigiri and sashimi platter, with honey jelly and fruit salad for dessert.
Lukian is a third year Science student with a double major in Ecology and Marine Science.
Lukian's dream 3-course meal includes a spaghetti bolognese, a rare steak, and a garlic prawn pizza.
Oliver is a third year Science student with a double major in Microbiology and Genetics and Genomics.
Oliver's dream 3-course meal would be an entree of deep fried brussel sprouts, a main of barbecued lamb, and ripe seasonal fruit.
Sylvie is a third year Science student with a double major in Microbiology and Data Science.
Sylvie's dream 3-course meal is if she could absorb nutrients through her skin, she would love to sleep on a bed of LB agar and wake up full!
Mark Somerville is a Research Officer in the Coleman Lab, and acted as one of our team advisors.
Mark’s dream 3-course meal would consist of an entree of a gin-based cocktail with olives on the side. Then for his main course he would have seared duck breast, roasted fennel, and duck fat potatoes. Finally, for dessert he would like a perfectly ripe apricot falling off the tree in a light summer breeze, still warm from the sun, but if unavailable, tarte tatin will suffice.
Claudia Moratti is a PhD student in the Coleman Lab. She also acted as one of our team advisors.
For her dream 3-course meal, Claudia would have caprese salad to start, followed by a traditional spaghetti carbonara. To finish off, she would have two scoops of gelato (stracciatella and nocciola are her favourites).
Our project supervisor, Dr. Nick Coleman, is an Associate Professor in Microbiology at the University of Sydney. His research interests include biotechnology, environmental microbiology, and synthetic biology.
For his dream 3-course meal, Nick would start with an appetite for destruction, move on to some humble pie with a side of couch potatoes, then end by having his cake and eating it too.
