Team Members
I’m Wenxin Mao from Nanjing Foreign Language School, Grade 10. I enjoy singing and playing Zheng(a traditional Chinese musical instrument). My favorite subjects are Biology and Physics, and I’m looking forward to exploring the mysterious mechanism of life through theories and experiments.
Hi, my name is Zhenshun Chen, I am currently a eleventh-grader and I am from Nanjing Foreign Language School. I’m interested in doing research related to biology and society. I hope to make my effort and work with my teammates to get some good results. Thanks!
I’m Qingying Deng from Nanjing Foreign Language School, 16 years old. I have had that strong interest of biology since 14, attracted by the magical nature, I began studying Biology till now. I’m also good at drawing, so it’s really a pleasure to attend this competition.
I’m a rising senior at NFLS ICC, with my obsessions in life sciences and bio-related sciences, I became one of the only 4 students who took an extra IGCSE in biology, and one of the few students who decided to take IB Biology Higher Level in their 2 year journey through the IB program. My MBTI type is ENTJ, but to be honest, I don’t really believe in MBTI personality test since the prototype ENTJ is somehow different from my real personality. I’m an outgoing person but sometimes behave to be really antisocial. I’ve been focusing on neuroscience, behavioral biology and psychology throughout my sophomore year. Learning about human and animal cognition, solving linguistics puzzles, self-studying the german language, enjoying jazz and pop music…all these things add up together to make me a full person. I hope to learn more about bio-experiment skills and exploring the field of bioengineering through iGEM.
My name is Yunshu Wang. I am a student in Nanjing Foreign Language School. Fascinated by the amazing natural phenomenon read in books, I found myself attracted to biology at a young age, and am currently working on the subject. Besides, in my leisure time, I often do some paintings and calligraphy. I sincerely hope I could learn a lot in the iGEM programme.
My name is Yuming Xue, I am 16 years old now. I am now studying at Nanjing Foreign Language School in senior 2. I am an outgoing boy and willing to make friends with everyone around me. I like playing table tennis and reading novels in my spare time, what's more, I also enjoying hanging out with my friends during the weekends. I am also a boy who often get low marks in Chinese and Politics exams, but I can do well in Maths and Physics, after graduating from high school, I want to have a further study in Chemistry and Biology in university.
My name is Yifan Zhang, an eleven-grade student at Nanjing Foreign Language School. I am interested in media and communication. I wish to use my experience and passion in the field of communication to help spread the idea and innovation of our group. I will mainly be responsible for human practice. I also wish to learn more about laboratory experiments and cutting-edge knowledge in the field of biology.

Hi, my name is Hongyi Cao. I'm a high school student in Nanjing Forgein language school. As hobbies, I'm really into sports and photography. I've been doing photography for most of my free time, hoping to major in related areas in college.
