Overview

Our team recognized that laboratory instruments and facilities are the basic tools for testing the performance and quality of products and various materials and materials. Only with reliable quality, normal functions and correct use of experimental analysis instruments and facilities can accurate, reportable and true test data be provided. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the standardized management of laboratory equipment and facilities.

Equipment protection

1. All kinds of precision instruments (including electronic balances, UV-Vis spectrometers, etc.) should be kept clean, safe and stable, and should be protected from dust, shock, moisture, direct sunlight, corrosion, and the influence of high-temperature heat sources in electric furnaces.

2. Do not move, disassemble or modify precision instruments at will.

3.The operation method of the precision instrument must be strictly in accordance with the instructions. Persons unrelated to the experiment are not allowed to turn the knob of the instrument at will, so as not to damage the instrument.

Glass experimental facilities protection

1. Glass instruments such as burettes, pipettes, and volumetric flasks must be placed in a stable place that is not easy to fall.

2. The use of volumetric instruments should be carried out in strict accordance with the operating regulations to ensure the accuracy of the analysis results.

3. Instruments with ground plugs (including volumetric flasks, acid burettes, colorimetric tubes, reagent bottles, etc.) must be marked before cleaning, and the plugs cannot be mixed. When the instrument with the grinding plug is not used for a long time, the grinding plug should be covered with a piece of paper. If there are sand particles between the grinding plugs, it should not be turned forcibly, and the grinding plug should not be scrubbed with decontamination powder to avoid damage.

4. All glass instruments should be handled with special care during use to prevent damage. After use, it must be washed, and no corrosive and toxic substances such as grease, acid, and lye should be left in the container, and they should be returned to their original positions in time. After cleaning the burette, pipette, etc., wrap both ends with clean filter paper to prevent contamination.

Environmental protection & cleaning

1. Each laboratory shall pay attention to environmental hygiene and shall be kept clean and tidy.

2. To reduce dust, wine sweeping should be done outside working hours.

3. Covered trash cans should be cleaned and disinfected frequently to keep the environment clean.

Lab experiment safety

1. Do a good job in fire prevention. Tinder is strictly prohibited except for experimental needs. Equipped with appropriate fire extinguishing equipment.

2. All kinds of dangerous goods must be strictly registered, and a ledger of purchase, use, collection, and withdrawal must be established. There must be accurate measurement and records for the entry and exit of highly toxic, radioactive and other dangerous goods.

3. The management of dangerous goods must be "controlled use and key management", and adhere to "classified storage and special storage". Strictly keep it and store it in a special warehouse.

4. Inflammable, explosive, highly toxic, radioactive materials, when storing and keeping dangerous goods, must strictly implement the "four prohibitions" regulations: conflicting properties, not allowed to be stored together; mutual can cause fire and explosion , are not allowed to be stored together; non-dangerous goods warehouses are not allowed to store dangerous goods; are not allowed to be stored in the open air.

5. It is strictly forbidden to set all open flames, and it is strictly forbidden to test, sub-pack, pack and any other unsafe operations that may cause ignition and explosion. When loading and unloading dangerous goods, they must be handled with care, without vibration, impact or friction; Dump, do not bump or roll at random. Obvious warning signs should be erected near the storage area.

6. Do a good job of anti-theft work, install anti-theft facilities, and the storage points of valuable equipment and dangerous goods must have anti-theft alarms. When leaving the room, managers should close the doors and windows, cut off the power supply, and turn off the running water. Unrelated persons are not allowed to enter without authorization.

7. Managers should do a good job of safety self-inspection. For dangerous goods that are unstable in nature or easy to decompose and deteriorate, they should regularly measure and test, and make detailed records.

8. After entering, leaving the warehouse or using, the operation site and the surrounding environment must be carefully checked, and the remaining or scattered dangerous goods must be cleaned and disposed of in time.

9. Laboratory equipment and medicines shall not be borrowed.

10. During the experiment, attention should be paid to safety issues throughout the experiment, and protective measures such as gloves and goggles should not be taken off in the middle of the experiment. Dangerous drugs are kept away from crowds and sources of ignition, and safe operation prevents accidents.

Safety during Covid-19

1. Keeping safe social distance is required. Large numbers of people crowding should be avoided.

2. Masks are required throughout the experiment

3. Sterilization needs to be exerted when entering and leaving the laboratory.

4. If anyone appeared to have high temperature, coughing or any sign of fever, he or she should not be allowed to engage in group working.
