All of them had different thought tangents to propose for our project. They made us realize the financial aspects that go into the acceptance of new technologies in the market through examples. They encouraged us to pursue our project since it would be highly relevant if we could further optimise costs. They suggested that we should also deliberate on the downstream processing costs and the extent to which they could be impacted based on our proposal. We plan to take up a short project and perhaps request them to let us use their facilities to experiment and come up with definitive figures once we establish a proof of concept or a standardized library for a particular protein of interest to them.
