Gene Auction
In an attempt to instill passion for Synthetic biology, we engaged the students by conducting a game called Gene Auction. Every team starts with 100 life points and 100 ATP. Teams are allowed to auction for different genes. These genes will save the teams from different types of crisis, if the team does not possess the necessary gene to resist the crisis they will suffer a base hit and a reduction in life points. Once all life points are exhausted, the team loses and the last team standing with the most number of points wins.
