IISER Tirupati
Communication between Shreyas Parkhie (IISER Tirupati) and Darsh Vithlani (ICT Mumbai) began even before the teams were formed, as Darsh was initiating an iGEM team at ICT-Mumbai institute after a long break. Darsh still recollects calling Shreyas right back in March asking him if it was too late to start a team, whether he should go for this year's iGEM or not- and here we are thanks to his and the IISER Tirupati team's encouragement. We looked up to IISER Tirupati for overall advise regarding every aspect. They have been winning gold medals and are being nominated for special prizes. The discussions with them have always been very insightful. The teams interacted with each other at AIIM’22, had loads of fun and learning chats, both teams shared a great relationship and IISER Tirupati helped ICT Mumbai in tackling iGEM related issues and shared our hacks with them (pun intended). Darsh has always panic called Shreyas before every iGEM deadline. We are grateful to the team for always being available and supportive to resolve our concerns.
