Hello, everyone! My name is Leslie Liu(Liu Silu). I am currently a Grade 10 student from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou and Science is my favorite subject. When I am free, I spend time playing musical instruments and reading books. In our team Buta Factory, I worked as the leader of the Wet Lab. Under the guidance of our tutors, I learned a lot about the procedures of doing experiments and gene-related knowledge, as well as how to write them down correctly in English, my second language. Also, I tried to design our logo and posters, which is something that I had never thought of before. Joining in really benefits me a lot, and I’m thankful for it.t

Hello, everyone.I am Annie（ Zhang Xiwen ）.I am a member of the dry group. I am a senior student who comes from the Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. When I was 12 years old， I contacted the Internet frequently. I then went into writing scripts and taking videos. I also took a lot of awards in writing. These encourage me to work continually. Moreover, I am interested in handicrafts. Therefore, I bought a lot of different materials to design bags、clothes and mobile phone shells. Doing experiments is another habit. My favorite experiment is elephant toothpaste. I am grateful to work as a member of our team.

Hello everyone, my name is Alisha Ding (Ding Jiaqi). I study at Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. Since we don't have enough people, I do work from both the wet lab and the dry lab. During the preparation, I hope I can practice my lab skills and have a more complete understanding of genetic engineering. Also, I'd like to make more friends that have the same interest in biology and develop my social skills. It's an honor to become a team member in this great team that I harvest a lot.

Hi, I am Poppy (Fu Juan) from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. I am keen on biochemistry and I love experiments. Under the detailed guide of our tutors, I have learned a deal of knowledge about some sophisticated experiments. It is indeed my honor to be part of our team. Also, I have other diverse hobbies. I love music and sports. I can play the zither very well and I like playing the piano as well. What's more, I am always the winner in the taekwondo arena and I got a black belt a few years ago. Music and sports are the things that can relax me after a busy day doing experiments.

Hi, everyone! My name is Tom Zhang(Zhang Jinwei)from Yangzhou and currently studying at Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. I am crazy about biology. As a laboratory researcher, I enjoy doing experiments cooperatively. This is also the reason why I want to take part in this competition. Though I do not participate in a lot of competitions like other members, my life is often colorful. During my free time, I like going shopping, watching films, and having meals with friends or parents. I think it is the happiest time I ever have had. I also have a special hobby. I like photography. I usually use photography to record my mood. This is a really useful way! We can try it together if you are interested in it! Moreover, during my time on the IGEM team, I meet so many wonderful friends and I learn a lot. I think I am so lucky to be one of the members of the team!

Hi everyone, my name is Emma Zhang(Zhang Yiyan)who is a senior student at Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. At school, I have developed a lot of hobbies. For instance, I am interested in hiking and listening to music. At weekends, I often invite my sister and brother to go hiking. Also, I am a big fan of all pop music around the world. As for me, the best way to relax is by listening to my favorite song. I’m a member of the dry team. Why did I choose the dry team? Because I want to learn Education in the future. In a dry team, I often meet different difficulties, but my teammates will give me useful suggestions. Finally, I am glad to join our IGEM group.  

Hello everybody，my name is Yuan Zhujun and I am a member of our team Buta Factory. I am currently a Grade 10 student from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou and have participated in both dry group and wet group. Since I would like to learn more social skills， I spent more time in the dry group. During our preparation， I met several challenges and I learned a lot， such as the skill to communicate with others and the ability to do a social survey. I got involved in the experiments as well and have found my interest in exploring.

Hi, I am Jason Lin (Lin Yuang), a grade 10 student from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou. I have been keen on science(especially computer science) as well as biochemistry. I get involved in both wet group and dry group and conform to the tasks allocated to me. I supposed that I can acquire more practical skills in iGEM since I need to obtain information from society (including the masses and a few experts) through interviews and surveys. More time is spent in the laboratories using sophisticated instruments and achieving the targets that have been set up step by step. I think I have performed more outgoing than I did before (I am an introvert but I enforce myself to behave well) and I feel delighted with the progress I have made.

I am Fang Xi who comes from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou and I have taken part in both wet group and dry group. I am an easy-going person and I am skilled in various activities. For instance, I can write an article on our official accounts and I also helped team members in the wet group to carry out our experiment. Besides that, I play an important role in our charity sale and the collaboration with another iGEM team, during the process, my social skills help the team to sell more goods in the charity sale and I performed friendly to make the collaboration go well. I am so glad to join a group like this, so I want to try my best to make the group even better.

Hey guys, I'm Lin Lenan from Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School in Yangzhou. You can also call me Andy or Alex. During this period in Nanjing, I'll devote myself to working for both 'Group Dry' and 'Group Wet', and I found these works interesting. Our team's name is also made by myself. I thought I'm good at Biology so I chose 'Group Wet' first. But I also want to improve my social ability, so I stayed in 'Group Dry' for a few days. I made the PowerPoint for the speech about our topic(Butanol) and some articles for our WeChat Official Account. I also manage the Account of our team on Bilibili and Tiktok. Through this time, I am supposed to develop myself in academic study, on the other hand, I need to learn more social skills.
