We mainly collaborated with Team NWU-CHINA-A, Team JLU_China, and Team IISc-Bengaluru. Meanwhile, we also have carried out minor collaborations and conversations with numerous other teams, including BUCT, XJTLU-CHINA, etc.
Since the team members of NWU-CHINA-A were short in mathematical modeling and hardware while we were short on external connection and arts, we drew members from both teams and formed a small team for cooperation. We helped them with all the modeling work, as well as the hardware that was useful for both teams. Furthermore, we enriched the NWU parts library together. The NWU-CHINA-A team helped us join the Gut Alliance for external connection and design the animation of our logo.
For more details, please refer to our Partnership pages.
Meanwhile, the two teams also hosted and participated in academic educational activities together.
We invited NWU-CHINA-A to co-organize a science popularization activity on synthetic biology for Beijing No. 22 Middle School.
We also participated in the Gut Alliance which was led by NWU-CHINA-A and other teams. We were responsible for the writing of the article "Gut Flora and Heavy Metal Poisoning" for the brochure of the Gut Alliance.
Gut Alliance BrochureAs co-founders, our team and team JLU_China led the organization of the "Cyber Orchid Pavilion Conference" meetup.
We also jointly produced the handbook "2022: An Instruction Handbook for New Teams", in which we contributed the article "A Quick Guide to 3D Modeling for iGEM".
2022: An Instruction Handbook for New TeamsTeam IISc-Bengaluru (Indian Institute of Science), reached out to us for educational collaboration. We contributed to translating the educational brochure created by them into Chinese and distributed it in our peers, parents, and the people we reached out to in our education and communication activities.
Sync -- 鸟瞰合成生物学世界We also had meetings with BUCT and XJTLU-CHINA to discuss our projects and shared our thinking regarding synthetic Biology and the iGEM competition.
