Contribution

Our team strives to contribute to both the local community of eutrophicated bodies of water, but also the wider, global community of sustainable farming practices.

Parts Contribution

We are extremely excited and proud to announce that through our project, we managed to add 3 new parts to the Parts Registry!

Future iGEM teams can improve upon or use our new entries to the Parts Registry in novel ways to adress other issues!

Further Contribution to Future iGEM teams

Our team strives to spread awareness about the world of synthetic biology. One of the best ways that we can achieve this, is by spreading awareness about iGEM. Being the only high school team from Europe, one of our main goals is to ensure that our high school student body can have the once in a lifetime opportunity to compete in the competition next year, and for many years to come! We achieve this by hosting several informational and educational gatherings available to students of our school, regardless of age. In fact, we had a panel in one of our city’s biggest venues, in a STEM exhibition. This way, people from all over our city could immerse themselves in iGEM and our project.

In collaboration with ACT, our school’s college subsidiary, we helped set the groundworks for a new future iGEM collegiate team! We wholeheartedly believe in the power of implementing synthetic biology practices in order to produce new solutions to some of the most pressing problems mankind faces.

In essence, our team aspires to give rise to two new iGEM teams for next years competition!
