2'-fucosyllactose (2'-FL) is an ingredient of infant milk formula and plays an important role in the growth and development of infants and children. This project expresses the genes and related transporters required in the synthesis pathway of 2'-FL through chromosomal integration. Large-scale production of 2'-FL is achieved by constructing a high-yield 2'-FL Saccharomyces cerevisiae cell factory to meet market demand.
