Collaboration
1. Collaboration with ProTeen-fessionals (YkPaO)
We had a offline meetup with ProTeen-fessionals (YkPaO), a team from YK Pao School on the afternoon of August 15th. Through their introduction, we learnt that they devoted themselves to a product that could be used for self-testing whether the users were infected with Helicobacter pylori.

Firstly, we exchanged ideas about shooting promotion videos. According to their sharing, we learnt about their video concept and shooting methods and determined our shooting plan.
In addition, they asked us about our promotion scheme in business, in return we explained in detail the ways of BTL and ATL. They borrowed some marketing methods from us.

In the end, we followed the WeChat Official Accounts of each other and decided to continue our collaboration soon. Later on, we two teams cooperated with each other and finally drafted a scientifical article about CRISPR technology for educational purposes which has been posted on our WeChat Official Accounts respectively.

In this collaboration, we enriched our market research skills and maintained sufficient academic communication which would play an important role in future work.
2. Collaboration with E.H-Cheers (SuZhou_Union)
On the morning of August 16th, we had an online collaboration with a team from Beijing, called E.H-Cheers (SuZhou_Union). The student of this team aimed to design a cell factory by genetic engineering technology to produce ethyl caproate to improve the flavor of Luzhou-flavor liquor.

Since they just started the dry lab work, they would like to seek our advice on conducting social research, including street interviews, expert interviews, et al. Our team members shared our experience with some tips to the E.H-Cheers team. We suggested that the street interviews could be conducted in places with high pedestrians, like commercial areas, and focused on the target people based on their product. To record these interviews, we could take brief notes or record voices if the interviewees were allowed.
In return, we also looked forward to hearing their thoughts or ideas about promoting their peripheral goods since they also planned to start a charity sale. They answered that they would first carry out popularization activities online and probably design some leaflets for offline distribution, but they also added that their future sales plan was still under discussion.
In this collaboration with the E.H-Cheers team, we reviewed our project progress and concluded several good tips when organizing some activities and we have shared these with them. We were also inspired by their questions and ideas.
3. Collaboration with Bis-Vacc (Shanghai_HS)
We had another offline collaboration meetup with the team Bis-Vacc (Shanghai_HS) on the afternoon of August 19th. Their project intends to target two viruses, explore dual oral vaccines, and use the bifidobacteria expression system to obtain recombinant proteins expressed by fusion of two antibodies, so as to achieve immunity from two viruses by eating a sugar pill, and protect the health of infants and young children.

Like the team E.H-Cheers, the Bis-Vacc team just started their dry part not recently. Therefore, we took the initiative to provide our experience and advice to them. They were confused about the format of the business plan and concerned about the cooperation between wet lab and dry lab, and communication mode with online members. To organize the business plan better, we suggested that they should separate the business plan into several parts first and then distribute the tasks to each member. For cooperation between the dry lab and wet lab, we suggested that they shall prioritize their basic tasks then they could get together to share updates and discuss things that require two sides involved so as to maintain team-high work efficiency. As a reference, we advised them that they could introduce the assignments to the online members through video calling everyday morning so that everyone would more focus on their tasks for the rest of the day. Besides, we also had a discussion on each other's experimental designs as well as its theory and learned a lot from each other.
