Part Improvement
Our team improved the signal peptide SacB from Bacillus subtilis via codon optimization. We optimized the SacB to achieve a more efficient secretion in our chassi Lactobacillus acidophilus. We decided to improve a signal peptide because it is important that our bacteria secrete the chitinases with high efficiency to perform its function of a vector of the biodrug.
