A Professor knows what she’s doing, but it takes true talent for a mentor to know what her students are doing. Yes, that’s Ms. Shreenidhi. She is the department’s toxicologist, specialized in Environmental Biotechnology, currently pursuing her Ph. D in the field of Biotechnology. Just like how Charles Xavier guides his students, Ms. Shreenidhi steers the igemers of REC-CHENNAI with her knowledge, care and experience. She has an ability to understand each student from their perspective. She is someone who never takes ‘no’ for an answer. She encourages the team and pushes them towards the right path. When the team feels down, we don’t head to our psychologists but to her. Students find solace in her at times of disappointment in any project result. On par with google, Ms. Shreenidhi always comes up with innovative solutions for the team’s troubleshooting. Even as a professor, her classes are always a highly anticipated hour. She never fails to entertain her students amidst her lectures with fun quizzes and games. At times of fun and relaxation, she brings out the child in her, expressing her playful nature. She always believes that teaching is not a job but a lifestyle. If there’s something that she abides by and lives by, its
