	Captain: Yifei Bai Public health researcher Initiator of a special study on rare disease DMD and helped 5 families to spread awareness of DMD to nearly 5000+ people. She has published a paper "The Application of Magnetic Nanoparticles as a Targeted Therapy in Cancer Treatment" and exchanged ideas with professors at Shanghai Jiaotong University on the impact of magnetic nanoparticles on targeted cancer therapy. Volunteered in epidemic service for 2 years Co-founder of Scholar of Tomorrow Social justice watcher campus ambassador Iced black tea addict Experienced in helping skiing enthusiasts with sudden snow blindness.
	Captain: Lin Wang Negative emotions can be found everywhere in our lives. But because one of my friends has depression, I realize the seriousness of depression for people. Therefore, I am honored to be able to further understand and learn the relevant knowledge of depression in synthetic biology and genetic engineering through IGEM. I hope I can continue to help people with depression now and in the future.
	Yichang Cheng My future major is neuro/bio and I wish to work in Mayo Clinic someday. I love rhythmic gymnastics and I’m really an anime fan. From the experience of doing the iGEM research project including choosing the topic, searching for related essays, interviewing doctors, doing polls and doing experiment in the lab for like months, I gained a better understanding about depression and its diagnosis. And I wish more people will know more about the disease and eliminate bias so that patients can seek treatment more bravely. It is sooo nice to meet all of you
	Fei Gao In life, I am a relatively introverted person who likes listening to music and watching anime, but this does not hinder my love for biology and chemistry. I learned a lot about synthetic biology from iGEM, improved myself and met new friends. In the future, I hope I can continue to study biochemistry.
	Xingyan Gao What made me decide to participate in the IGEM competition was that I wanted to explore the nature of life. And I know, gene is one of the most important points of biology, I am also very interested in this aspect. What’s more, I learned a lot about the characteristics and applications of biomarkers in summer vacation by our IGEM project. I was also responsible for the production of official accounts and videos in the team, which helped me adapt to team work more quickly
	Yixuan Han A senior student who come from Jinan Foreign Language School International Center. The optional courses I am taking now are chemistry and biology, which is also my future career direction. When I was a kid, my original intention to study biology was actually to become a veterinarian and save more animals. As I grow up and experience things like the COVID-19 outbreak, I want to help more people with my knowledge and ability. And I hope the experience of IGEM can play an important role in my future
	Xinrui Jiang I’m a year 11 student in Jinan Foreign Language School. As a teenager, I’m interested in comic, music and reading books. In daily life, you can see that I always take place in different kinds of restaurants because one of my dreams is trying all the special restaurants in the world. As a member in IGEM, I learnt some basic use of experimental instruments and more profound genetic knowledge. Furthermore, participating this competition made me firm belief which build a connection between biochemistry and society in learning biochemistry. In the future, I wish through my tireless efforts， more people could be benefitted by biology and chemistry.
	Dilin Pan Actually, my determination to choose biology was strongly influenced by my mother, who is a professor in university teach biochemistry. I’ve acquired some interested knowledge about genetic from my mum, she also gave me huge passionate to biology especially genetic which indirectly made me to choose to participate IGEM competition. I have an enquiring-mind that dramatically help me during our research in IGEM. After I’ve done my tasks in competition, I deem that I’ve acquired a lot, not just knowledge but also team coordination as well as ability to cope with research related science problems.
	Xinzichu Xie I always discover some problems faced by people around me. The most serious issue seems to be depression. In my opinion, biotechnology should consolidate its state as one of the major ways to deal with depression, due to its preciseness and scientificalness. Fortunately, I got a chance to participate in the iGEM project about diagnose of depression. During the processes of experiments, I gained knowledge about biochemistry and learned skills about operation. That precious time facilitates my dream to help others as I can.
	Zhenyi Xu The reason why I participated in IGEM competition is that I like biology very much and am very interested in genetics. I think that participating in this competition can let me contact more biological related expertise. My biology teachers and parents also support my decision very much. They gave me the courage and motivation to participate in the competition. In the process of preparing for the competition, I really learned a lot, but also let me know the importance of teamwork, we have obtained very satisfactory research results.
	Dingwen Zhang I'm a high school student who always wants my life to be as curious as the main character in the comic book. I am honored to be a member of ICJFLS and participate in iGEM competition. I joined experiments, video editing, the creation of Viki Web page and other projects in this competition, and gained a lot of knowledge of synthetic biology. I hope our efforts will help more people understand the value of synthetic biology!
	Xiangyi Zhang A girl who loves science has great interest in life science. My dream is to be a doctor, because I can always get a sense of accomplishment from helping others. I have done research on small cell lung cancer, and wrote papers on the future development of targeted drugs for small cell lung cancer under the guidance of doctoral students. In addition, I love street dancing and fitness, and enjoy the feeling of performing on stage.
	Runxi Zheng My major is biochemistry. I especially like biology, because when I was in junior high school, my biology teacher was particularly careful and serious about the students. He taught me patiently and carefully solved any questions about biology. His explanation of the phenomenon of biology made me fall in love with the biology completely. Also I have a lot of hobbies, such as reading novel, carving and so on. Reading novel can let me visit all corners of the world in a short time, broaden my horizons, and improve the pattern. Carving can cultivate thinking ability, make me bravely explore, learn to innovate, and create magic with both hands. I can always appreciate my strength in my hobbies.
	Haowei Zhang Hello everyone, I’m Haowei Zhang, a team member of ICJFLS. I love Biology and Chemistry, and I am a follower of iGEM, hoping to shape the world with my power!

Yu Wang

As the first PI of ICJFLS and AP Biology teacher, I am happy to pass on my love of Biology to my students and devoted to establish their knowledge network and thinking system of this subject and to guide them to further exploration. In my class, students do not only focus on the textbook knowledge, but also talk about how to use what we have learned to improve this world. This iGEM topic is another exploration to benefit others, and I will always be with them to give them support.

Hi, Leo here, a year 11 student in Jinan Foreign Language School. As one of the so-called nerds in the world, I find myself submerged in anime, video games, and VTuber. On the other hand, as one of the participants in the group, I would like to stand out, and lead all members into communication and speak. Due to the passion of biology, gene, I am able to introduce the design of the whole project. Besides the great interest in biology and chemistry, I been practicing graphing and video editing to make the whole project not only more accurate but also more understandable. As biology is a subject which people will benefit from the development of it, I would like to study molecular biology and build the connection between the theory and real life, so far, I work as a lecturer in biochemistry club and share knowledge to students who have the same interest. In the future, I would not only stay in the lab, instead, I wish I will continue to build the connection between the lab and society. I was a participant in 2021 ICJFLS team. While this year, I work as an advisor and provide assistance with previous experience.
