She is mainly engaged in the bioinformatic analysis related with plant flower and fruit development. She is young and has an active mind. She has always paid attention to the education and guidance of undergraduates. She also keeps an eye on the progress of our project and provides our iGEM team with a lot of support and valuable suggestions

Yan Cheng

College of Plant Protection, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. Research interests: Plant hormone regulation and disease resistance, discovery and utilization of plant salt resistance genes. Some help and suggestions are given on the topic selection of the project.

Research fields: molecular mechanism of female gametophyte development, molecular regulation of floral organogenesis and fruit development. Provide certain assistance and support in the wet experiment, team building and other aspects of the project.

I am one of the team leaders of this year's FAFU team and I am participating in iGEM for the second time. i really enjoy photography, playing piano and traveling. This year, I am mainly responsible for the management of the whole team, human practice activities and film work. iGEM is a very enjoyable competition and I have made many friends and teachers with similar interests in the process. It's a very valuable exercise, and I hope I can do well this year!

Qinyu Chen

In this project, I mainly participated in the experimental design in the early stage and the implementation in the middle and late stage. This year, I really learned a lot. Although I have made a lot of mistakes. With the help of our teachers and teammates, we got through a lot of difficulties. It's a pleasure to meet such a group of smart and like-minded friends. Hi, I am Jolin. It’s my pleasure to be the leader of the FAFU team and I am mainly responsible for the wet lab and art design. In my leisure time I enjoy travelling, photography, painting and sports. During this time, I have learnt a lot, gained friendships, and experienced the joy of synthetic biology, which is hard work but very rewarding. I hope we get good results for our efforts!
