Model Contribution
Metal binding peptide and Metallothioneins are functional and novel parts of our biofilm system design, in which we aim to comprehensively build and test. An atomic level simulation is tremendously helpful and typically generates substantial insight about how the target component functions, simultaneously proving the feasibility and robustness of the system.

As part of the Model session,We implement the Molecular Dynamics Simulation and analysis pipeline with detailed documentation for gromacs which serves as guide to subsequent iGEMers working on Molecular level research to boost insightful discoveries in Synthetic Biology.

The part CsgA~shMT3-linker-MBP3 is designed via in silico approach and tested in terms of structure and dynamics,which serves as a new part BBa_K4463009 for multiple heavy metal absorption solution.Autodock Results regarding binding energy and affinity along with all batch files are recorded to serve the research community,potentially promoting subsequent optimization of synbio bioabsorption system.

Hardware Contribution

Environmentally friendly materials: The device model consists of shell and sensing system; MBBR carrier; membrane module; the shell is made of environmentally friendly material polylactic acid. Improvement of existing bioreactors: The MBBR carriers grow the biofilm of our modified pure-breed engineering bacteria, which can cooperated with the membrane module for filtering the sewage treated by engineering bacteria.

Human Practice Contribution

Human Practices was involved in all the lifecycle stages of the competition and created a logical cycle that fit the project context. In addition to this, during the cycle(https://2022.igem.wiki/xjtlu-china/human-practices), the hp gave positive responses to the doubts expressed by all the players, fully searching for all the resources that could be found.

HP also designs and documents all groups of iterations in the project and actively contributes to process optimization with the beneficial information gained during communication with stakeholders.It also takes full account of safety and responsibility in the project and promotes proactive thinking about relevant issues.
