Impact and Collaboration
l am from Slovakia and in my 3rd year of studying Bioprocessing of New Medicines (Business and Management). I am interested in regenerative medicine and commercialisation of new therapies.
I used to be a professional ski racer before I went to study at UCL.
Modelling and Impact
Hi, I am a 3rd year Theoretical Physics student at UCL. I am doing iGEM to learn more about biotechnology and synthetic biology.
Fun fact: Unlike Veronika I have never skied.
Synbio and Impact
I’m a 2nd year biochemical engineer interested in synthetic biology and its potential for drug discovery. I am passionate about applying interdisciplinary knowledge in Synbio.
I talk to plants when I'm bored and hope to understand their language
Outreach and Modelling
I'm a 3rd year Natural Sciences student at UCL, majoring in Molecular and Cell Bio and minoring in Physics. My scientific interests lie in Biophysics, particularly in the physics of cells.
A fun fact about me is that in my free time I design Escape Rooms
Synbio and Modelling
Hi, I'm 22 and from Oxford. My academic interests are synthetic biology, bioengineering and, more generally, the application of engineering and physical science theory to biological systems.
Fun fact: I am the proud owner of a springer spaniel called Tipper who is a very good boy.
SynBio and Outreach
Hi! I’m a second-year Arts and Sciences student from California. I’m interested in tackling plastic pollution, improving agricultural sustainability, and making healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone across the world (so basically everything!)
Fun fact about me: I can make really good focaccia
Synbio and Impact
Hi everyone, I am a second-year undergraduate student from Bucharest, Romania studying Biochemical Engineering at UCL and I specialize in Regenerative Medicine. Reversing climate change, nurturing healthcare and ending global famine, draught and animal harm are just some of the goals that I would like to address in my career studying this contemporary degree.
Fun fact: I am an inveterate Star Wars fan and I make the cheesiest and meaty dilled carbonara
Outreach and Modelling
Hi. I'm a first year natural scientist at UCL specializing in organic chemistry and molecular/cellular biology. I've lived most of my life in Portugal. I am intrested in developing preventative treatments to tackle chronic illnesses in populations. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and reading.
A fun fact about me is that I am a proud owner of a hairy hairless cat (a Devon rex).
