Software is an integral part in understanding our model, and possible applications for future plans with the product. Namely, our software aimed to optimize the design and build process. We wanted to help ourselves and other teams that may otherwise have had to do a large amount of manual data entry to fulfill a standard.
The Prefix Suffix Tool
The aim of the prefix/suffix tool is to streamline the process of modifying DNA sequences for compatibility
with Type IIS golden gate assemblies utilizing a MoClo standard. Specifically, this tool adds MoClo
standardized fusion sites for use as a level 0 MoClo part, along with additional nucleotides to ensure
complete cleavage. Out team utilized this software for the addition of short 5' and 3' flanks consisting of
BsaI, SapI, or BpiI restriction sites, but future software augmentations could see an expansion of available
