My name is Lichen Ma, and I’m a student in Dalton academy of the affiliated high school of Peking University, now, I'm a rising junior, and I want to learn more about synthetic biology. My major in school is economics, but I still hold enthusiasm for biology. Of course, I also want to practice experience in participating in the economic progress and meet more friends in iGEM. At the same time, I also look forward to our team, E.H-Cheers, achieving excellent results in the competition.

My name is Yixuan Zhang. Currently, I attend senior high in a regular high school in Tianjin, a city in northern People’s Republic of China. However, I am interested in college studying abroad, and this serves as one of the most important motivations for my entering the competition. By taking part in the iGEM competition, I have gained a lot, among them not only natural science but also social science. Attracted by the social science, I decided to attend the Dry Lab. I have contributed substantial effort to the team, and I am very confident in winning an award for the reason being.

My name is Wang Yuting. I come from Beijing, the capital city of China in Asia. My hometown is in Liaoning Province in northeast China. I am 17 years old. I am a senior in high school. I have been studying in Beijing New Oriental International Bilingual School for four years. I am interested in robotics competitions, photography, Frisbee, guitar and economics, all of which I have been participating in for at least three years and keep developing. In this IGEM competition to participate in the dry team, hope to gain more experience in these ten days and make a finished product.

My name is Jiajie Zheng. I come from Chengdu. My middle school is Chengdu foreign language school. And I went to American for my high school study. The school is Saint Paul Catholic high school. It was in Hartford, Connecticut. I was a soccer team player in my school life. And when I was in grade seven and win the championship in the next year. I have lots of hobbies such as soccer and games. I always play video games when I was tired. That is a good way for me to take relax. And I won a game champion.

My name is Youran Sun. I come from Beijing, China. I study in Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Experimental School. My hobby is art. In this IGEM activity, as a member of the dry team, I publicized the research achievements of the wet team. I not only conducted a market survey with my classmates, but also participated in the design of the printing of peripheral products and the design of mascot. At the same time, I also participate in the writing of the public account and participate in the activities of the dry team.

My name is Yilin Gu. I am a member of dry lab. I am a grade 10 student from BIBA(Beijing International Bilingual Academy) and I join this competition by a recommendation from my friend. I studied IGCSE coordinate sciences and Economic courses for 2 years. After the two-year high-school courses, I realized that I am interested in Business studies and biology. I believe that the IGEM experience will improve my capacity of cooperation and academic skills, also this event will benefit my future university applications.

My name is Yunqi Zhao. I am a grade 10 student from Beijing International Bilingual Academy. I decided to join iGEM because I have a great interest in biology which is very suitable with this competition. I am a member from dry lab since I have capacity to do advertising more than experiment. Also I have studied biology and economic during grade 9 and 10 so I think I can bring more benifits to the team and try my best!

My name is Liu Xiaozhuo. I'm a girl from Shandong Province, China. I am 18 years old and will apply for college. I have a wide range of interests, such as exploration, scientific research and scientific experiments. So I came to the iGEM biology contest with many questions and conjectures. I hope that through this period of study, I can answer my questions and enrich my knowledge. At the same time, I hope our team can achieve good results in the process of continuous exploration and learning together.

My name is Qin Mingze. I'm from Beijing, the capital of China in Asia. My hometown is in Heilongjiang Province in Northeast China. I'm 16 years old. I'm a junior in high school. I am interested in snowboarding, skateboarding, windsurfing and psychology. I have studied these projects for more than three years on average, and I am constantly developing my career. In this iGEM competition, I joined the dry team, hoping to get more experience.

Hi there! My name is Qimian Zhu, I’m a student in the high school affiliated to Renmin University in China. I was in my fifth year of study at this school when I took part in iGEM. My enthusiasm in biology involved me in the project, but I accomplished more like designing humanistic experiments and making promotion video of our project. Hello, guys. My name is Cece Wang (Wang Chenxi). I‘m currently studying at Beijing National Day School. I have a great passion for Biology and Economics. And I actively participate in related activities and willing to study biomedical science or economics in the future. My dream is to become a stateless doctor, through international travel and lecturing, help guys who tortured by the illness. In our team, my job is to take part in the experiments, take some notes and also do some records. It‘s my pleasure to become a team member in E.H-cheers team that I have learned so much during the experiments.

Hey guys, my name is Wilson Wang (Wang Zihe), a senior student from Saint Paul American School, I’ve got many personal interests, such as making models of tanks, battleships, and planes, collecting old laptops made in the early 1990s and messing around with these beasts (both from their size and performance). I would help my colleague comprehensively during the experiments, from cleaning the test tubes to running the experiments and demonstrating the results. Finally, as a member of our team, I hope that our work will finally get a result that will satisfy us all, that is, to get the title of honor.

Yo what’s up my dubs, my name is Dong Yanxi. I currently go to school at Beijing bayi high school’s international department. Igem means a lot to me. I am a member in wet lab team. I am mainly responsible for all kinds of preparations of solution. And I have partaken a number of experiments steps. This program is meaningful. This is the second time I conduct experiment in professional lab, and this is the first time I ever touch Pcr setup and its relevant procedures. So I learned a lot from it. More importantly, I have discovered my genuine interest toward the works in laboratory. This is significant. The interest is the strongest incentive to push people strive harder. Plus, I enjoy my experience of working with my colleagues. It was brilliant. My teammates are some of most awesome people I have ever seen. I am glad to work with these cool people.

Hey everyone, I’m Eliza Swan (Yifan Wang)from the earth. Studying in New Orienral Academy (NOA)，learning IBDP curriculum. I’m obsessed with jigsaw puzzles sometime, I quite enjoy the process of put all the pieces together and make it a complete picture.I also study and make statements for LGBT in my spare time, it feels good to help a group become known to more people and help estray find out what sexual orientation they are .It has been a pleasant process to witness their rights gradually spreading.In the end ,I really gratitude iGEM for bring us a chance to know more companies who share the same hobby.

Hey guys, I'm a student who's looking forward to becoming a researcher in the Pharmaceutical region, my name is RuoHan. Well, it's a bit of shame to admit that my grades in science subjects are pretty bad....but that didn't change my idea that doing scientific research and working in the lab is joyful. Besides, for me, the iGem competition is a great chance to learn science that's different from studying in school. Lastly, I'm really glad to gain this experience, keep moving!

Hi there! I'm Emma Linlang Zhao, a rising senior from Beijing Luhe International Academy. I really engaged in Biology and Psychology and I participated in iGEM this summer. In our E.H. Cheers team, I'm in the wet team, I was mainly responsible for doing experiments and providing help to my tutor. I've gained tremendous knowledge about biology and have experiences in the laboratory. The iGEM experience also gives me the opportunity to study a variety of advanced biology equipments. Spending these days with my teammates is amazing and it will be a precious memory encoded in my mind.

My favorite subjects are Chemistry and Biology and it is my dream to be a researcher. Although I am not a very smart student, under the guide of our teacher and by cooperating with my teammates, my level of Biology and Chemistry has unprecedentedly increased. I am not a very smart student, but I would like to devote all of my effort into Chemistry and Biology because they are my favorite subjects. That is the reason why I have chosen to take part in iGEM. Hi, I’m Vicky Huang (Huang Weiqi) from capital city Beijing. I currently study in RDFZ Chaoyang branch school. I really enjoy devote in study of biology and chemistry; my favorite branch of biology is neuroscience. I genuinely appreciated that iGEM give me a great opportunity to work and study as a lab researcher. During this wonderful experience in chemistry and biology, I have gained the knowledge as well as the experience of many sophisticated experiments developed skills and better understanding of lab equipment. Hello everyone, I'm Guo Ziyi from Kunming, a member of the wet team. This is my first time participating in iGem's project activity. My usual hobby is playing some computer games. But my computer is not suitable for many games. So I mainly play a game called Honor of Kings on the iPad. My hobby in the subject is biomedicine, because I have been exposed to these subjects since I was a child, so I am very interested in this subject, so I joined the wet team. During the preparation period, I was very much looking forward to learning more laboratory skills and was very interested in making new friends.

Hey everyone, I'm Alexis Shen(Shen Yucong) from Guangzhou, a senior student studying in Guangdong experimental high school AP course. I guess I have been greatly influenced by my parents. They are both in the field of biology and chemistry. I'm looking forward to study chemical engineering and medicine in Jhon Hopkins. That's why I chose wet lab in iGEM. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing soccer and my favorite team is Barcelona FC. I have many other uncommon hobbies too, such as keeping koi, making models. My favorite subjects at school are chemistry and biology, hence I decided to take part in the wet lab of IGEM. Hey guys，I’m Jacob from the High School Affiliated to Minzu University of China, I am honored to participate in the big family of iGem. In private, I have a strong passion for exploring the world, so I often go to streets and alleys to take a walk. For me, this activity was also a good opportunity to explore unknown areas. Under the professional guidance of teachers and the active cooperation of partners, I learned a lot of professional knowledge about the laboratory, and put it into practice, and gained a lot.

I’m Ethan and I live in Beijing, China. For leisure, the activities I enjoy are playing badminton, listening to podcasts, making music, or jamming out with my band members. At school, I enjoy chemistry and philosophy classes because both my teachers are really laid back and their classes are relaxing. Although I’m more competent in chemistry compared to biology, I participated in this competition to understand how different roles collaborate to fulfill one goal - kind of like being a part of a band. Hi, my name is Jasmine Zhao (Zhao Qirong) from Qingdao. I am a junior at the Stony Brook School in New York. I have many interests, such as playing the oboe, Chinese calligraphy and horseback riding. I really enjoy studying biology and chemistry, which I love discovering the things happening in the microscopic world.
