Overview

    BioBricks have always been the foundation for iGEM projects. When constructing our BioBricks, we made use of the IDT synthesis offer to generate our required parts in a fast and efficient way. After getting the parts we want, we used PCR amplification with our constructed expression plasmids as templates to construct multiple BioBricks. For the basic parts, each part contains a coding sequence, while the composite parts are extended with promoters, RBS, and terminator. During our MerSe project, NCKU_Tainan created a part collection comprised of 11 basic parts and 11 improved composite parts. All the basic parts and composite parts are included in our Part Collection as the comprehensive system for Sec and selenomelanin biosynthesis.
