If you are looking for Christelle, she is in the lab, wearing a labcoat, gloves at her hands doing PCR, protein purification in the cold chamber or gel electrophoresis. Reading a book and spending time at the beach with friends are her favorite hobbies.
Cooking food for the team is not his only activity and he found that his skills could as well be used to successfully perform experiments in the lab and cook great scientific results. Moreover, Ali spent time in our office to canvas sponsors or to communicate about our project.
Nessim has a strong background in biology, biochemistry and developed knowledge in coding. This allows him to be comfortable in bioinformatic and modeling. He worked with Emilie as a team manager. When Nessim is not present in the lab, he is at his home listening to music and playing Rubik’s Cube.
Traveler Hye-Rin shares her time between Cyprus or other beautiful places and the lab where she is involved in the lab experiments and the bioinformatic part of the project. Her knowledge in biochemistry was a solid help. At home, Hye-Rin loves spending her time in front of Netflix.
When Emilie is not wearing a running or biking outfit, she is present in the lab to manage the team with Nessim. For this iGEM experience she gave up her lab coat to focus on human practices, education, communication and administrative tasks. She also spent a lot of time working on the wiki.
Jérôme monitors the administrative iGEM requirements.
He is working on molecular biology. He has interesting advice in all the molecular biology aspects of the project.
Diego is always present to monitor our manipulations. Moreover, he participates in the fundraising with us.
Luca is always available to help us in the modeling part and in the relation with the Faculty.
She is working in the “Integrative Biophysics of Membranes team”. She helped us in the general organization of the project.
Elsa participated in the 2018 iGEM Competition and the project evolved into her PhD.
