Contribution

Since the beginning of the project, it has always been our motivation to make contributions to the future igem project. We firmly believe that all our efforts and experimental results can effectively contribute to other igem teams in the future and become their reference templates.

1. Group work

Our team is scattered in various regions, and we even have time difference. Thus, we did a lot of online international exchanges and made videos of people with disabilities communicating with each other. These are our strategies to keep in touch within the team: meeting times are set in advance; using shared documents to edit anytime, anywhere; chatting more to ensure familiarity with each other. Any future iGEM team, whether online or offline, can use this management experience.

2. NADH and nad+increasing method

We provide a novel methodological model for adding NADH and nad+ that any iGEM team can use in the future. Future iGEM teams can use our approach in experiments concerning the immune system, metabolism, etc. Future reference teams can also extend our idea to add more genes to increase the yield of NADH and nad+.

3. Introducing PPT of synthetic biology

The human body has an antioxidant system. The body synthesizes oxides to maintain the dynamic balance of oxides. Protecting the intestinal mucosal barrier probiotics can reduce the intestinal mucosal permeability, thereby protecting the integrity of the intestinal mucosal barrier. To improve the microecological balance of the body, probiotics are not drugs, they are harmless to the human body, and will not grow resistant to drugs. Our genetic engineering EcN has given us a strong ability to recover most intestinal and liver abnormalities, which is a promising drug delivery tool for these patients. The alcohol studied by our team can help more people realize the huge potential of probiotics for human beings, and its benefits for human beings are unlimited.
