Communication

Our thoughts

The exchange of information is going on all the time, but the most effective communication is the communication that really brings needs and can solve problems.

Present our opinion to the government

During the process of the project, we found many problems in China's probiotics industry through investigation. We believe that my country's probiotics industry still lacks relevant national standards, resulting in the lack of supervision of the entire probiotics industry. There are also many problems, such as the unclear identification of product strains, etc. In terms of products, it can be said that there is still a certain distance between China and developed countries. We tried to put forward our opinions to the national government through emails and other methods. Although we have not received a reply for the time being, we still hope that our suggestions can promote the improvement of the laws and regulations of probiotics habits and make the probiotics industry develop in a healthier way.

Intestinal information platform

When the project decided to use intestinal probiotics as our test subject, we had to confront a number of issues common to many experiments with intestinal probiotics. But neither past nor present teams seem to have a good platform for communicating and generalizing intestinal-related issues across both temporal and spatial gradients, so we collaborated with several other teams (UCAS-China, WHU-China, NJMU-China, NWU-China) together to form the intestinal information platform. For cost and system flexibility reasons, we use an open source platform as the framework for our website. On the website, members from various teams had lively discussions, and unexpectedly, various issues outside the intestinal also became a hot topic of discussion.

Thrombotic Health Guard

Our teammates found a paper that patients with vessel disease are more likely to suffer from psychological disease[1]. Therefore, we begin to pay more attention to patients. So we designed Wechat Mini Program. It has two parts, 'Project and competition promotion' and 'Project and competition promotion' which can be used as a platform to introduce vessel diseases and used as a communication platform among patients.(Details in competition.igem.org/participation/rules-and-policies)
