We improved the iGEM Part BBa_K2172009 by adding E. Coli specific Shine-Dalgarno Sequence to enhance Ribosome binding and therefore enhance protein expression in comparison to the annotated ribosome binding site. The spacer sequence between the tac-promoter and the lac-operator is the sequence with the highest acivity published in the paper Mulligan, M. E., Brosius, J., & McClure, W.
