WLC-Milwaukee x The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) iGEM
We have collaborated with The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) iGEM team. They reached out to us to collaborate because we have both chosen the environmental track. We then held a virtual meetup over Zoom where members of our teams talked about our projects. We are both going to be using a nitrate inducible promoter which we discussed. We have agreed to assist each other in research and project strategies. We have been emailing back and forth with troubleshooting questions and have been sharing project updates. We hope to collaborate with them more as the Wiki freeze and the Jamboree gets closer.
WLC-Milwaukee x Maastrich University iGEM
We have collaborated with the Maastrich University iGEM team. They reached out for us to collaborate because they were interested in making a puzzle based on the projects of different iGEM teams. They asked us for a summary of our project as well as ten words which describe our project. The words were organized into the form of a word search. The significance of each of the words were also given in the puzzle.

We reached out to The University of Purdue, Stoney Brook, Lund, and Maastrich to collaborate with us. These teams helped us by proofreading the instruction manual for our soil test kit. We wanted to make this instruction manual as clear as possible for anyone to read. The goal was to have a concise manual with no confusing jargon and the collaboration of these universities helped us greatly.
