I am Jialin He, currently a junior student from the School of Computer Science and Technology, USTC, with major being statistics and minor being CS. Now I'm working for USTC-Software as the team leader and responsible for coordinating the work of my team members and arranging the process of the our project. During the competition, we work together, exchange our ideas and enjoy the joy of mind collision. Overall, it is a memorable experience and a precious opportunity to work for this project. I am Haozhe Liu from University of Science and Technology of China majored in AI technology. I am the manager of USTC-Software, and it is the first time I participate in a competition like iGEM. During this short period of time, we worked together and harvested the fruit of hard work. I have learned a lot about communication and teamwork, and I am honored to be a part of this team and get acquainted with all the members.

I am Bufan Wang, currently a junior student from the School of Computer Science and Technology, USTC, with major being Physics. In our Frontend Group, I am mainly responsible for the chemical structure editor modification and user experience optimization. I love this great competition with the opportunity to work with my teammates and develop a useful software project. I enjoy extending my research to multiple fields and have a keen interest in biology. This year my teammates and I had a time of overcoming difficulties, which really fascinated me. I have been impressed by my teammates for their enthusiasm and creativity, and I hope our work can benefit others in Syn-Biology.

I am Lijunxian Zhang, or Li Zhang for short. I am a junior student from USTC majored in Information Security. Now, I am working as a member of the front-end group in USTC-Software and responsible for making scrolling animations in the wiki. With this unforgettable participating experience, not only have I learnt a lot in front-end development, including jQuery, Vue, but also realized the importance of cooperation with others. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to iGEM for providing this opportunity.

I am Weirong Zhu from USTC and major in Computer Science. As a member of frontend group, I am mainly responsible for the code and making of the sub page. From this competition, I learn a lot about the web page making and programming. After about-one-year learning, I went from being a greenhand to someone who could write a basic web page with JQuery ScrollMagic and GSAP. Besides I made a lot of new friends here. They are all excellent students and I learn much from them. It is a precious memory, and I think I will cherish it forever.

I'm Hanqi Lv from USTC majored in computer science. In this project, I am responsible for writing web pages and scripts. I have to say that this is a memorable experience. In these days of working in the front-end group, I learned a lot. I have learned about biology and the concept of page design. I have changed from a novice who has no concept of web page development to a novice who can use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to develop simple web pages. I am very grateful for this. I am Siyuan Guo from USTC, and I major in Computer Science. During the progress of the fronted part, I am mainly responsible for the code and web page. I also take part in the design of Wiki. From the competition, I have gained a lot. In addition to many programming skills, I also learned how to cooperate with others in a project which contains thousands of lines of code. I’m Xuanchao Peng from University of science and technology of China majored in computer science. Now I'm working for USTC-Software as the front-end team member and responsible for coding and coordinating the work of my team members. In this project, I have learned a lot about web design. I'm Junfei Tan, a junior student at the University of Science and Technology of China with major being CS. I joined USTC-Software out of interest in coding and its amazing application to the synthetic biologic field. I'm very excited to be able to implement our great idea with coding and do some contribution to synthetic biologic. I am Yixuan Pan from USTC majored in Data Science. In this project, my work is mainly on creating and maintaining databases, such as parsing info (in various formats) from open-access databases and designing, building and optimizing our own database. I enjoy continuously iterating, optimizing and seeing performance improvements. In this project, I have learnt a lot about Synthetic Biology and database organizing skills, and had a memorable cooperating experience with my teammates. I'm from University of Science and Technology of China and majored in computer science and technology. As a member of back-ends, I mainly focus on getting the datasets of our project from Brenda. Besides, I do researches on some powerful technologies and then put forward proposals to make the best use of these technologies to optimize our project, from which I benefit a lot. After a year of hard work with my teammates, we apply what we have learned flexibly and eventually we achieve our goals. It's a great time and thanks iGEM for this opportunity.

In the USTC-Software, I work on the framework of back-end, building the infrastructure, organizing code into different modules and deploying the project to server. I'm Weilin Li from USTC majored in Cyber Space Security. As a member of the backend group, I mainly work on maintaining the database services. I am Haomin Wu from USTC Life Science and Medicine, University of Science and Technology of China, and I am the leader of the biology group in the project development. I was mainly responsible for literature research, collecting relevant information of various databases and software, and providing biological knowledge assistance to other members. My major is clinical medicine, so it is full of novelty and challenge for me. I am honored to participate in the 2022 iGEM project and have the opportunity to communicate with teachers in the field of synthetic biology and students from different majors in the school, which has greatly broadened my professional horizon.

I am ZhiHong Zeng from University of Science and Technology of China and I major in biological science. As a member of USTC-Software biology group, I supported the team with biological knowledge throughout the project selection, design and final testing. During the creation of MEI, I read a lot of paper related to bioinformatics and enzyme prediction, which greatly broadened my horizons. As an art group member of MEI, I mainly worked on artwork and design, designed the UI of MEI platform and team wiki interface with front-end, completed icons and animations in the pages.
