All the team members participated in the wet lab, wiki pages, sponsors, and promotion of our project.
Parts, wet lab, wiki, education, protocols, and material design.
His main contribution to the iGEM team was through the lab and through working on the molecular constructs and later the analysis of results. He contributed to the wet lab as well as education and material design. He gave a presentation during the science event UNGForsk to young students.
Wet lab, wiki, recruitment, contact person, organizer.
Frida designed the wiki and helped put it together. She contributed to the wet lab. She oversaw scheduling meetings with supervisors and the promotion of our project within the University of Oslo (Titan). Frida also designed the team's logo. Her voice is part of the promotional video. As the first member of the team and was involved with the recruitment of more iGEM members for 2022. The recruitment process included poster making, social media events, and being a contact person for people that wanted to join or had questions about UiOslo or iGEM. She scheduled weekly meetings with the supervisors.
Wet lab, wiki, promotion, human practices, editor.
Alonso contributed to the presentations for prospect master students at the University of Oslo, also attended the Linköping meetup for Nordic teams where he represented our project. He has ample wet lab experience, so his contribution was with the practicalities of the project. He helped edit the wiki and was a key factor for the team's decision to work with bacterial cellulose.
Wet lab, wiki, education, collaboration, communication, promotional merchandise design, promotional video, integrated human practices.
Liza contributed to the wet lab, reached out for collaborations with other iGEM teams, and sought the mentorship of experts that could help with the applications of our cellulose. She participated actively in the creation of the promotional video, provided equipment, got the required permissions, and did sound editing; her voice is also part of the video. Liza designed the promotional merchandise and carried out the survey and data analysis. She acted as an editor for the wiki and participated in the presentations for master students and a podcast where she talked about UiOslo and iGEM. She taught young students at UNGForsk how to prepare kombucha. Liza was the ninja webmaster.
Wet lab, wiki, protocols, promotion.
Manuel's main contribution was in the wet lab, where he collected and edited all the protocols that are found in this wiki and performed many of the techniques that helped the team. He recorded an interview for a podcast for another iGEM team and contributed to the presentation to master students at the University of Oslo. He helped coined the name CELLULALT.
Wet lab, education material design, collaboration, applications for sponsors, human practices, recruitment.
Sarah contributed to the wet lab and did collaborative translations for other iGEM teams as well as the applications for sponsors. She helped with project administration and kept track of deadlines. She did the team's infographic, helped cut and distribute promotional merchandise, and got actively involved with educational collaboration by showing gaming software from other iGEM teams to Norwegian children. She kept track of the lab journal and did minutes for the team's meetings. She helped with the presentation to prospective master's students at the University of Oslo and helped with project administration. As the team's second member to join the team, she was also active in the recruitment of new members. She helped put the wiki together.

Solomon was mainly responsible for finding a practical application for our project. He came up with the idea of using bacterial cellulose as a source of extra dietary fiber and later connected the dots for medical applications. He had the main idea for the promotional video, participated actively in the recording and did the video editing; his voice is also part of the video. He reached out for the sponsorship of Empress and coordinated a visit where we learned how to make kombucha which would later help with education collaborations. Solomon sought collaborations and partnerships with other iGEM teams and made the group Celluminati, where other iGEM teams that work with bacterial cellulose meet and share knowledge. He also collaborated in the wet lab and the wiki.
Principal investigator
He is responsible for the iGEM team in Oslo. Through his knowledge and resources, the team is formed every year with adequate supervision and support to complete the project.
Principal investigator and Supervisor
We would like to thank Athanasios for his guidance and patience throughout this journey. He helped us keep track of deadlines and his vast experience both at the lab and with previous iGEM teams gave us the perspective we needed. We would not have been able to complete anything without his help.
Co-supervisor
We are forever thankful to Kirsten for her help, guidance and her kind support every week. She encouraged us when we thought we had faced a dead end; and gave all the support needed to make sure we would participate and attend the Jamboree. Her knowledge in biochemistry, helped us present to younger students in an efficient manner.
We would like to thank the following experts and advisors that helped shaped our project from the start. Detailed information can be found at human practices.
