As a result, meal replacement products have been created with the aim of providing customers with a convenient and quick way to obtain a nutritious diet. Our proposed users are the potential customers of meal replacements who are looking for nutritious but inexpensive products with good flavors which can be designed freely by users. Producers who intend to manufacture meal replacements or relevant household machines are also our end users.

For individual customers, they can use this project at home with ease. Having the machine assembled, the connected phone application installed and the necessary ingredients added, they are able to design the personalized meal replacement with different flavors by tapping the phone screens, and hours later they can enjoy the food synthesized automatically by the machine. For producers, they can apply our technologies to produce household machines, which may expand their market share and boost their profits.

Ideally, we hope our project can benefit all of our targeted people and users. And we also provide a highly free method to personalize users’ products, which is user-friendly. For example, for people on a diet or wishing to lose weight, consuming our product will be used as an auxiliary option for meals whose ingredients and flavors can be selected freely, in order to provide proper nutrition gain and targeted intake. The same principle applies to people who need certain extra forms of nutrition or more specific needs. Henceforth, people with a special need for food nutrition can get rid of worries of not finding available products but customizing and personalizing to their own needs with the assistance of our production machine.

This machine can also be accepted by other people because it’s also like a usual cooking pot, available for daily use. The raw materials can be bought online easily on our custom application. In the future, we would offer even more optional choices including flavors, nutrients, etc. Optimistically, we are hoping to convey a healthy lifestyle through our efforts and shed more light on caring for people with special daily nutrition needs as well.

Commercialization Plan

We plan to first simultaneously bring the software and hardware to the market on a small scale, as the testing phase of our commercialization. We are more than thrilled to accept any reasonable advice with the purpose to optimize our product and service. This phase includes analyzing the feedback from our first users to bring better adaption to our project for different people. We always believe that to manufacture a creative and pioneering product, customers’ approval is of supreme importance. Compared to other meal replacements, letting customers recognize the convenience and food security of our meal replacement machine is more challenging. Especially, it will take effort for the audience to understand how biosynthetic meal replacement benefits our health as well as how its functional matter produces and works. Then with acceptance and availability comes the industrial production of products. From a prototype to a mature product in the market, the process of industrial manufacture is much tougher than scientific research and development. To expand the scale of production, we need both advanced automated assembly line production equipment and sound detection equipment. What’s more, according to customers’ design, our team should continuously innovate new functional meal replacements to meet market demand. Next, we plan to cooperate with other companies to bring a better experience.

Safety Considerations

Considering the public’s limited knowledge about bio-meal-replacements, we are obliged to clarify the safety of our product. About machine, its mechanical structure, electrical circuit construction, sealing effect, and other performance have received rigorous validation and adequate testing. Regarding biosecurity, our microbes are all equipped with effective oxygen-controlled suicide switches, which means they would be inactivated once they leaked from the machines. As for human health issues, although we have chosen the ingredients which are common intakes of the general public, we list every composition which may lead to allergies or other adverse reactions.
