Chris Yoo (Team Leader)
Involved in almost all aspects of this project and team operation. Edited and co-wrote the iGEM Impact Grant, Project Promotion Video, Judging Form, numerous Wiki pages, and the Safety form. Documented existing and improved parts on the BioBrick Registry. Conducted interviews as part of the Human Practices team and participated in wet-lab work. Managed communication with PI, advisors and school staff. The team’s representative and coordinator of collaborations between Australian teams.
Kobe Goodridge (Wiki Chief)
The team’s sole programmer and leader in Wiki development and design: wrote and implemented most CSS, Javascript and HTML code and developed all Wiki pages. Participated in wet-lab activities. Contributed to the biomass encyclopaedia, the government and iGEM impact grant, and did the voiceovers of the promotion video.
Sansita Verma (Interlab Study)
In charge and wrote most of the Interlab Study page. Involved in Proposed Implementation, Education and Communication, writing the $10,000 government and iGEM impact grants, reaching out to sponsors and the biomass encyclopaedia. Contributed to numerous wet-lab tasks and stakeholder interviews.
Pravin Nagaratnam (Education & Communication)
In charge of the construction of the How-To Guide for future Australian High School teams. Contributed to Human Practices, Proposed Implementation, Proof of Concept, biomass encyclopaedia, Judging Form entries and a number of wet-lab work and documentation. Wrote the $10,000 government and iGEM impact grants. Communicated the project to collaborators, interviewed stakeholders and wrote emails to various potential sponsors.
Jeremy Yuan (Protocools)
Involved in most Wiki sections: Protocols, Engineering, Education and Communication, biomass encyclopaedia, Lab Notebook and did initial wet-lab work. Wrote many parts of the $10,000 government and iGEM impact grant.
Vedant Vaghela (Proposed Implementation)
In charge of Proposed Implementation, involved in Judging Form and biomass encyclopaedia. Conducted interviews for Human Practices and participated in initial wet-lab work. Contributed to the $10,000 government and iGEM impact grant and reached out to potential sponsors.
Krystal Huang (Graphics Design)
Involved in most aspects of project and wiki’s design including the logo, colour palette, project name, homepage narration, team page illustrations, team artwork, promotion video graphics and team hoodie. Contributed to the biomass encyclopaedia, initial lab work and attributions page.
Hannah Wang
Managed the Education and Communication page, the $10,000 government and iGEM Impact grants and reached out to potential sponsors. Communicated the project to collaborators (UNSW), and stakeholders. Involved in Interlab study, biomass encyclopaedia, the voiceovers for promotion video, homepage design and numerous lab-work.
Angelique Hooi
Involved in most of the project’s design aspects including: homepage design, colour palette, posters, team hoodie, team page illustrations. Assisted in writing the promotion video script. Contributed to initial wet-lab work and biomass encyclopaedia.
Sejal Mall
Contributed and assisted in most graphic and design work including: wiki design, homepage, colour palette and project name. Assisted in documenting Interlab Study, Proposed Implementation Lab Notebook. Involved in biomass encyclopaedia and initial wet-lab work.
Elizabeth Heilman
Wet lab specialist, in charge of most lab activities, experimentation and result analysis. Involve in DNA alterations, part design, collaboration and documenting the Engineering section.
Oliver Bucknell
Wet lab specialist, in charge of most lab activities, experimentation and result analysis. Involved in biomass encyclopaedia, part design and agricultural experience.
Gavin Li
In charge of editing the biomass encyclopedia and the team’s social media management. Involved in some aspects of Lab Notebook, Wiki design. Contributed and assisted mostly wet-lab measurements and experiments.
Daniel Wei
Administered the team’s social media platforms. Contributed to and edited the biomass encyclopaedia, and collated data for wet-lab, lab workbook, created the Team Attributions page.
Varun Khurana
Wet lab specialist, specialising in microbiological techniques, conducting experiments and collating data for and documenting the Lab Notebook and Engineering Success. Contributed to writing the government grant.
Emily Burns
Wet lab specialist, assisted and involved in most wet lab work and results analysis. Managed the biomass encyclopaedia, wet lab documentation (Logbook), Project Design and Engineering.
Genevieve Bolster
Wet lab specialist, assisted and involved in most wet lab work and result analysis. In charge of Project Design and Engineering documentation of lab work, human practices and biomass encyclopaedia.
Aditya Arora
Participated in wet-lab activities. Contributed to the biomass encyclopaedia and lab work. Wrote emails to various potential sponsors.

Contributed and assisted in the graphics team, edited encyclopaedia. Assisted in wet lab activities and human practices research.

Managed the team’s social media accounts. Collected wet-lab data and constructed graphs and contributed to initial wet lab work.
Associate Professor Louise Brown - Advisor
Louise was the person who introduced all of us to the iGEM competition. She is an invaluable member of our team as she was there on many of our lab sessions, providing directions especially for dry-lab work and pouring out words of advice and feedback.
Ms Thi Huynh - Advisor
Thi is also an invaluable member of our team, being there on many of our lab sessions, supervising wet-lab work, and helping us conduct our experiments (without messing up)!
Professor Robert Willows - Secondary PI
Rob is another invaluable member of our team, who was there on many of our lab sessions, and was our human encyclopedia who answered any question relating to wet-lab work and scientific knowledge in general.

As a whole, The King’s School provided classrooms and PC2 laboratory facilities where our team was able to work, as well as funding for equipment, travel and registration expenses. They provided The Future Project program which our iGEM team is a part of, and hence established all the groundwork for our team to operate!
Ms Renay Mannah - Head of Science and Team PI
As a former Director of The Future Project, she has been nominated as our team PI. She managed official administration and logistics regarding formal documentation processes for the School and for iGEM. Also, she will be one of the two TKS teachers who will provide supervision for our trip to the Paris Jamboree.
Professor Peter Wilson - Director of The Future Project
Professor Wilson organised the administration and logistics for our trip to the Paris Jamboree, such as conducting parent information sessions and booking, planning, and organising the travel arrangements.
Mr Greg Alderson - Director of Strategy and Development
Together with Professor Wilson, Mr Alderson managed the bulk of the travel arrangements for students going on the Paris Jamboree.
Ms Shaz McAllister - Science Curriculum Coordinator
Along with Ms Mannah, she will provide supervision for our team during the trip to the Jamboree. She has also liaised with the School’s marketing department to organise team shirts and signage in preparation for the Jamboree.
