My name is Yizhou Xue. I am a rising junior (G11) studying at Branksome Hall in Toronto Canada. During spare time I spend a lot of time on music and badminton which are my major hobbies. Meanwhile I also dedicate my time to volunteering at hospitals and spreading awareness of elderly care. I am a current volunteer at the Beijing Harmony Hospital's palliative care program promoting end-of-life care among Chinese citizens. I am also a volunteer at the STIA elderly care organization making video series about reducing risks for elders as well as taking care of their health. I am going to pursue a medical career in the future since I have sincere passion in biology - especially genetics neuroscience and general physiology. By participating in iGEM I wish to gain more knowledge about genetics molecular biology and experimenting while also furthering my study in biology.

My name is Zhou Qianyi. I am 17 years old. I am a rising junior studying at Cushing Academy in the US. I have many hobbies such as playing the piano tennis and reading books. The primary direction I would like to pursue in the university is biology and chemistry in which I have had some academic background during my study in high school; I'm going to take AP chemistry and AP biology this upcoming semester and I'm a member in the STEAM club in our school. I also took the Moleculs of Life Nature and Industry course in this year's Havard Summer Session program. I'm very interested in chemistry and biology. That's why I decided to join the iGEM program; I hope I will have a deeper understanding of the genetic editing topic and chemistry after my study and experiments with my team members in this iGEM program.

Hi there! My name is Li Xingru and I am 17 years old. I am a rising junior and I attend school at the Bishop Strachan School located in Toronto Canada. I have genuine passion in biochemistry since I was very young. I devote plenty of time in the science field such as volunteering in a non-profit organization that spreads awareness about HIV/AIDS to high school students. During the summer I have been interning at a veterinary clinic where I shadow the doctor's work. In my spare time I enjoy photography and baking. In the future I wish to pursue a career as a veterinarian. By participatng in iGEM I want to explore the study of genetics and molecular biology so I can expand and deepen my experience and understanding of biology.

Hi my admirable teacher and my dear classmate. My name is Liu Liu and I’m in my 16 years old. I from the Chengdu NO.7 High School which is one of the best high schools in my city. Its campus is as beautiful as ours. My favorite subject is math because it’s a complicated subject that drives a lot of students crazy. But I am a student who likes challenges and I can feel great achievement when I solve a math problem. Besides I like various extra curricular activities because they can bring me a colorful life. In my opinion study is just a part of our life so that we should not be constrained by it. It is my honor to join you in iGEM a very meaningful activity.

My name is Tianxiang Yin. I am a high school senior currently studying in Falmouth Academy in the United States. I like playing soccer and swimming. The field I am interested in is science I believe that hands-on experiences are much more important and interesting than lectures that’s why I enjoy doing experiments a lot especially in chemistry and biology. I participate in several science programs both inside and outside of class. While doing these experiments I could see the process and the result of what I did clearly without further description from teachers in class and by completing a successful experiment I felt so proud of myself. This is the major reason why I participate in the iGEM program and of course I am enjoying the process.

Hi everyone. My name is Zhu Zihan. I’m a student from Shanghai International High School of BANZ. Honestly I don’t know what else I can say. So I decided to say some meaningless things. I think The Silent Patient is an interesting book. It surprised me at the end of the story. When I saw the truth it overturned all my inferences. I also want to recommend a musical theater. It’s Hamilton. It’s my favourite theater. It helps more people to know more about the history. To some people it’s hard to learn history. But the musical theater can help you learn history with happiness. It can help you relax and improve your English Listening.

Who am I? I sometimes asked myself for what did I suppose to participate in this activity. I sometimes felt bewildered during the experiment. I sometimes probed into the massive principle behind with fain. I sometimes queried my aim my goal and my result’s outcome. I sometimes forced myself to get closed to those containers vessels and tubes. I am Chamirch a student in Wuxi Jiangsu PRC. Carrying warmheartedness of chemistry and biology I stepped into this lab in wet team. However the truth of its difficulty went beyond my imagination. Previously thought of it and the difficulty in reality formed gigantic contrast. I kept doing it and finished it? I have finished it and the glory belongs to the team.

My chinese name is Zheng Cheng and you can call me Eric. I’m sixteen years old and I was born in Zhengjiang province. As a student who is studying in Shanghai United International School Wanyuan Campus I’m keen on exploring knowledge in the field of Chemistry and performing various kinds of experiments. I hope to apply for university with chemistry as my major in the future. I am very honored to participate in this activity and learn new knowledge and make like-minded friends. I am a student in Hefei No.8 senior high school. I spend my leisure time in participating the IGEM competition. I have skillful experience in doing experiment and I always do same interesting experience at home. I also do well in play basketball and table tennis. I am a foodie and I eat a lot of delicious. I make a lot of friends in this competition and my friend Eric Abby Crystal and me established a bio-chemistry. I enjoy this experience.

My name is Zhang Huayu， and currently I am a high school student in Shanghai who will study abroad in the future. I play sports activities during my leisure time for instance frisbee and badminton. I’m in grade 12 right now and going to apply biology as my major for the university. For my future career life I’m planning to focus on kinesiology as I join the sport and I know how important health is for athletics. For the IGEM contest I hope that I can experience myself in the lab and also learn more about genetics and extend more on the medical area.

I lived in Japan for a long period time in childhood and now I’m a high school student who study at the Shanghai Foreign Language School. I really like biology and chemistry at the school, and I usually play dry ice hockey with my friends at free time. And also, I established a environmental conservation club at the school. I’m really glad to participated iGEM competition, I learned a lot in this group so I believe it is a precious experience for me.

I was born on July 19th, 2004 in Hangzhou China. I’m a fan of music, finance, and games nowadays. My dream is to become an investor or entrepreneur, even if people tell me that I’ll never make it, I don’t give up, especially on myself because I do believe that I will achieve my dream. I also love to play video games such as League of Legend, Hearthstone and Teamfight Tactics. I consider myself as a very responsible and sensitive person. I have a wide range of interests, for example , I'm interesting in Computer Science so I hope it will become my major subject in univercity. Hi, my name is Kaiwen Wang, I am a junior student from North Cross Shanghai. I want to study business in the future, so I choose to work in the dry team. Before I joined IGEM, I also participated in FBLA business competition and other events. In my leisure time, I like to read some books and rescue some stray animals. We also set up a stray animal rescue organization in our school to help stray cats to be neutered and find families, collect the salvage fee by selling the perimeter. I hope to make great contribution in the dry team.

Hi everyone, I’m Eva Lu(Lu Yawen) from Ningbo. I am 16 years old and studying at HD Ningbo School. I have a lot of hobbies. For example, I am a big of dancing, which I learnt it for almost 12 years. The best way for me to relax is dancing with the music in my free time. Also, I am interested in economy. After I came to iGEM, I learnt a lot knowledge, which is out of the textbook, such as the business plan and wiki. As a result, I can apply to reality and enrich my experience.

Hi, my name is Kerry（JunZe) Yin. I'm an 11 grader from Veritas Collegiate Academy. Aside from school work, I am a person of diverse interests, such as piano, sketching, calligraphy, and football. For academic aspects, I have a passion for research and experiments --- I did some fundamental science research under the guidance of my professor. My name is Ma Jiaju Grade 12 this year in the United States Maine John Bapst Memorial High School. I am very interested in astrophysics and my favorite hobbies are playing guitar playing badminton and skiing. Recently I have developed a great interest in biological science so I entered this iGEM competition. I hope to have a deeper understanding of biology by participating in this competition.

Hi everyone. My name is Tracy (Yifei) Chen. I am a sophomore at Fountain Valley School of Colorado. I’m interested in psychology. I’ve taken several psychology-related programs so far. My favorite field in psychology would be memory. It is really interesting to learn how your own memories can trick you. One of my goals is to study psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. I also have a lot of hobbies and one of them is dancing. I do both K-pop and hip-hop dancing. I really enjoy the positive and supportive environment of dance classes; it helps me build confidence.

I am an upcoming 11th-grade student in the Wardlaw-Hartridge School. I am keen on the field of business and management, and that’s one of the reasons for me to join the dry team of Bis-Vacc team in IGEM. At my spare time, I love to improve myself by acquiring new skills and knowledge through the internet as well as practical projects. During these years, I gradually developed interests in programming, chemistry and biology. IGEM gives me a perfect chance to study on a variety of fields practically.
