The National University of Defense Technology iGEM team was responsible for all aspects of running the team, including project communication, model building, lab work executing, team-shirt designing, and so on. PIs and Instructors
Our Primary PI, Professor Lingyun Zhu, oversaw the project and provided us with support for the experiment platform, materials, and equipment.
Our secondary PIs, Dr. Wenying Li and Mr. Xinyuan Qiu, helped conceptualize our project, and provided detailed assistance on data analysis, visualization, and troubleshooting. Two plasmids used in our project pXQ164 and pXQ100 were kindly provided by Mr. Xinyuan Qiu.
Our instructors, Dr. Lu Min and Mr. Chuanyang Liu, provided us with crucial labwork training and helped with data analysis and wiki editing. Our other instructors, Drs. Xiaomin Wu, Lvyun Zhu, and Jingyu Kuang provided us with important suggestions during the process of wiki production.

Project History

We started brainstorming in March this year, providing initial ideas for the project. We conceptualized our project in April and started working on Human practice and lab work since then.


About the synthetic biology course
We are a team from National University of Defense Technology. Our school provides a synthetic biology course in the form of a compulsory course for students majoring in biotechnology. Our instructors also provide iGEM-related lectures and training programs at the beginning of the iGEM season.
