Together with fellow aptamer-employing teams IISER Mohali, IISER Tirupati, Nazarbayev University, and NYU Abu Dhabi, we authored a book about aptamers intended for future iGEM teams and the general public. The book is aptly named “An Introduction to Aptamers”, and aims to provide an introductory understanding of aptamers, describe the benefits of working with them, and give examples of how research, industry and previous iGEM teams have utilized aptamers in the past.

In order to promote the book to the public, we have shared it on our social media platforms. To further alleviate the workload of future iGEM teams deciding on working with aptamers, we will extend invitations to our Slack-based aptamer community to other iGEM teams. Said iGEM teams can then share these resources with their successors, in the event that the latter involve aptamers in their projects.
