Hello everybody, this is Haber Chen from team iBowu-China. I'm currently studying in High school affiliated to Renmin University as a 11-grade student. My interest in biology traced back to middle school when I observed cells under a microscope. I could never forget the excitement of the new world that Biology opened up to me, and I have immersed myself into further explorations ever since. Synthetic biology is a track that I narrowed down after reflecting my experiences in my zebrafish research project and iGEM 2021 competition. As I read more papers about the latest researches, I was fascinated by synthetic biology's wide applications, from microorganisms for clean pollutants from water to organisms for disease-mechanism elucidation. I hope to further participate into HP activities while continue my exploration through experiment processes.

Hey hey everybody! I am Gloria Yu from 2022 iBowu-China, currently studying at Limai as a high school student. My interest in biochemistry is triggered by a fiction where the protagonist is able to save everyone's life using tons of mysterious methods related to gene editing. No doubt, my dream is to achieve that. Attending iGEM this year would get me more goal-oriented, meanwhile provides me a platform where students of similar interests gather around and try to synthesize something that could make the world a better place. Apart from being a student（future biochemist?）, I am also a tennis player, a tea drinker, and a gamer.
