Let primary school children explore the field of biological knowledge. July 1st, we went to primary school to teach the basic knowledge of the double helix structure of DNA. For children, the theoretical knowledge was a bit complicated, so the team chose to transfer knowledge by "shape".

Wise teaching methods
After the team's easy-to-understand theoretical teaching, we began to lead our friends to draw the image of DNA. During the teaching process, we prepared: colored pens, A4 paper, etc. At first, children had no idea about drawing DNA, but they just found it interesting. Under the leadership of the team, they draw relevant lines, and surprises begin to appear on their faces. We believe that this education can be regarded as successful if children can draw pictures themselves and express DNA with their own hearts.
DNA into the campus
On July 7th, with the help of Ms.Becky, we held an introductory synthetic biology class for children attending the summer camp. During the presentation, the children showed a strong interest in synthetic biology, and they also participated in our discussion vigorously, answering questions such as "what is DNA" and "my understanding of biology". Through this activity, we helped the children improve their learning and understanding of synthetic biology, and inspired their biological thinking.
Little scientist's dream
We hope this lesson will inspire scientific dream in their hearts, expecting it to take root and sprout continuously. We also distributed the team badge to the children as a souvenir. If they can think of this vivid DNA lesson in the future study, it will be very meaningful.
