In order to know emerging treatment strategies for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer in hospital, we have collaborations with Dr. Lin Zhang who is the chief medical doctor in Tongji Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, P. R. China. We learn from her online lecture in Tencent Meeting that motivates and inspires us to explore further in this project and beyond. Her PhD student Miss Shuyu Li has helped us understand the pathology of breast cancer

Breast cancer is a complex disease developed from the accumulation of genomic, proteomic and metabolomic alterations that initiate and continuously push forward the progression of cancer. Over the years, artificial intelligence (AI) has become a powerful tool for the mining of big data generated by the advancement of various start-of-the-art techniques. It promotes the translation of large sets of experimental data to cancer precision medicine and extends patient lives.

Dr. Ye Yuan is the distinguished professor in College of Artificial Intelligence and Automation of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, P. R. China. We met him online in Tencent Meeting. His lecture provides us an opportunity to know the frontier and implementation of AI in clinical medicine and health care.
