We designed several products with our team logo as well as IP in order to recoup some spending on our experiment as well as to promote our team.
These products were not only used for fundraising but also used for drawing more attention to our topic and our team. Most of our products were designed by members and customized through Taobao stores.
We created an online shop (Weidian) in WeChat to facilitate online payments by our schoolmates, friends and other followers of our WeChat Official Account. Weidian, as a widely used function on WeChat, serves as an online shopping platform so that purchases can be made via WeChat Pay.
Offline fundraising occurred at the same time since we promoted our products to friends and relatives during offline gatherings. After knowing our project and our team goal, they really supported us and bought some peripheral goods.
We also introduced those products in our own public accounts, self-presided rapamycin lectures, and science movies to enlarge the scope of the audience. We provide purchase channels through scanning the code of our store, which facilitates the customers most.

In general, the fundraising activities are successful since not only did we gather some money but also more people started to pay attention to our topic and our team.
