Prof. Hsien-Da Huang is a presidential chair professor, associate dean of education at the School of Life and Health Sciences, and the executive deputy director of Warshel Institute of Computational Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
In this competition, Prof. Huang is a Prime Instructor, guides project design, supports progress supervision, and provides relevant research resources to help students participate.

Dr. Lin majorly focuses on research fields of Sequencing technology, Systems biology, Bacterial genomics, Molecular microbiology, Cell biology, Immunology, and Cancer Science. In this competition, Dr. Lin, as the instructor of wet-lab experiments, helped students construct engineered bacteria and improve related experimental procedures.
Ni Jie is a research assistant at the Washer Institute for Computational Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Master the theoretical knowledge and experimental skills in the fields of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, reproductive immunology, synthetic biology, aquaculture, etc., focusing on the transformation of scientific research results.
In this competition, students are assisted to carry out the experimental procedures normally, and solve practical problems in life through comprehensive experimental methods.

Yigang Chen is in School of Medicine, Life and Health Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China and Warshel Institute for Computational Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China. His research fields majorly includes data driven drug target prediction, multiomics data mining and bioinformatics databases.
I hope our iGEM team can start from innovation ideas, make practical synthetic bioengineering, and apply it to the industry to change the world.
Hsi-Yuan Huang is a Research Fellow at the School of Medicine, Life and Health Sciences and the Warshel Institute of Computational Biology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. His research interests include multi-omics data analysis, gene regulation, regulatory RNAs, and machine learning.
