Being the principal instructor throughout the entire process of Thinker_China's project, including contacting the lab for members to conduct 5 weeks of experiments, Mr. Liu has made great attribution to our project construction, who also spent his time patiently solving our problems. Moreover, the main concepts of our project are suggested by Mr. Liu and his laboratory team members.
Responsible for teaching us synthetic biology and molecular biology courses, Mr. wang is along with us consistently, involving the weeks conducting experiments; if we have any questions about our project design or experiments process, he is always to help.
As a key advisor to our team, Mr. Qi assisted our experimental design throughout our project and provided guidelines for improvements. He instructed us in the weeks we stayed in the laboratory and checked if we were following safety disciplines. Mr. Qi was responsible for teaching microbiology and laboratory safety courses during our online learning period.

Dr. Chen received the PhD degree in Ecology (University of Alberta, Canada) and Master degree in Environmental Sciences (Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences). Her research area mainly on freshwater and marine ecology, dinoflagellate biology and phytoplankton-bacteria interactions in harmful algal blooms (HABs).
