Stony Brook
We collaborated with StonyBrook on their scientific journal which sought to research social and health disparities and societal implications of synbio. We researched and exposed different venues of inequality around a variety of topics, in our case we focused on the inherent issues of the LATAM health services, and how it creates socioeconomic segregation, in this sense we wrote an article titled: “Inequality in the Mexican Health System and its Repercussions in Antibiotic Resistance” that summarized these problems and also formed a fundamental part of our human practices. We also wrote a second article for their scientific journal titled: “sRNA Designer: Thermodynamical characterization and scoring of sRNAs” These articles were shared through Stony Brook´s platforms and social media.
The following link also contains the second article done in collaboration with this talented team:

Anima Collaboration
We collaborated with the Design League CO2 Snatchers team by offering them a space for the collection of samples that they needed for their bioart project. During the Biologix summer camp that we conducted, participants were invited to provide samples of bacteria taken from the skin in their arm. The CO2 Snatchers team then used a program of their design to analyze the growth of bacterial colonies and interpret them to create music.
