Team Attributions

Wet-lab group

The wet lab team is headed by Fulin Li and basically consisted of Zibo Liu, Xiangyv Yv, Junzhi Yan and Yixiao Yan. They have finished difficult but well-done jobs during the two months to test the feasibility of our project. During some special occasions when most group members' time is occupied by school requested activities, Zhouyv Lu and Saiya Li also come and help with lots of work. Besides, Leyang Tao and Xuanyi Li are also helpful when needed. The wet-lab members are definitely among the people spending most time and energy on iGEM this year, they voluntarily give up almost all of their casual time, including summer vacation to conduct our experiments.


Modelling group

The modelling group is headed by Saiya Li and consist of Yimin Yin, Zhouyv Lu and Leyang Tao. They play an indispensable role in our project. By using their knowledge in computer and mathematical modelling, they contributed to designing our project and assisting the wet-lab works.

Human Practice group

This group is headed by Xiang Jiao, and a lot of team members participate in conducting and joining our human practices activities. The members participating are, Yixiao Yan, Zhouyv Lu, Saiya Li, Xiangyv Yv and Xuanyi Li. Wet-lab members and modelling members also participated especially professional advice are under consultation. The human practices work is included in every stage of our project. With the efforts made by HP group, we are doing educating, consulting, communicating and collaborating throughout the whole season.

Visualization group

This group is headed by Xinyue Han and involve Zhouyv Lu, Xuanyi Li, Xinyun Tan, Yawen Zheng, Yingying Bao and Hongyi Qian. Their duty is to visualizing our project in many ways such as the academic poster, animation videos, drawing graphs on the wiki pages and design our team uniforms! Their diligent work is vital in helping our project look as appealing as it really is!

Wiki group

This group primarily composed of two members, Yingzhe Guo and Shiyi Wu. But with the proceeding of our work, more and more members taking part in buiding our wiki and helping it looks perfect! Other members who contribute are Yimin Yin, Leyang Tao and Yixiao Yan.

Advisors

We are so lucky to have four experienced advisors accompanying us throughout the season!

Yvxin Lu and Jiehan Zhang have joined the 2021 iGEM. It was them that firstly introduced iGEM to us! They guide us in team constructions and project selection by taking part and giving advice in those brainstorms! They are really helpful during the whole season and we can't make it here without their help.

Zijian Zhu is also a 2021 iGEMer. He helps us a lot in better presenting our experimental results and making good presentations to introduce the project. Besides, he also guides us to do human practices.

Yaliqin Yalikun is always there when we need experimental advice and supervisions.

Instructors

Prof Ma and Yvshu Wang are our instructors and they witnessed every step we’ve made during the journey. They were always there to encourage us and give suggestions when needed, no matter on protocols or instruments.

  • Thanks to SJTU Bio-X institute, they kindly provided us with the experimental materials and key instruments. Thanks to Dr. Qianyi Bao and Dr. Xiaoqing Yang, for their patient help in experimental operations.

    • They kindly provided us with most instuments, equipments, space to use, and the most commonly used materials.
    • Thanks to Mrs. Ping Zhang and Mrs. Xia Zhang and all the other teachers working in the builiding, they are so kind to provide us help and willing to lend their equipment, labrotary or even office to us.
    • Really thanks to the security guard of the building, for they kindly allowing us to finish much later than the normal close time.
