With guidance from our PIs, advisors and instructors, our project design team designed, and revised the plasmids. Due to the limited access to the laboratory facilities during the pandemic of COVID-19, four team members conducted the web lab this year. We did experiments including testing the growth and survival of our E.coli transformed with sfGFP, the ability of our pH shooting circuits, and hormone binding proteins.
For human practice and collaborations, Denise and Jackey led the Human Practice and Integrated Human Practice team to plan and hold several events, including visiting related local industry organizations, web meetings with expert from an overseas university, online collaboration activities with other iGEM teams, and presentations to our supporters.
Our Hardware team designed and built our planting system to test the plant growth, and produced the home kit prototype.
Our Modeling team modeled the plant growth at different pH levels using mathematical methods and visualized the modeling results.
Our Lab team, including Benny, Denise, Lokman, and Gina did experiments on testing the ability of our pH shooting circuit and hormone-binding proteins.
Merry, Samson, Denise, Jackey, and Kalia organized and engaged in our human practice.
For integrated human practice and collaborations, Denise and Jackey lead the whole Outreach team, with Gina, Pedro, and Joanna to hold events and plan for the events.
Our Hardware department members Ana, Adrian, Amy, and Brian designed our valid system, tests for plant growth, and the prototype home kit.
For the Modelling team, Arthur and Benny are the team members who modeled the plant growth at different pH levels, also involved in the write-up and the visualization.
For the Graphic Design team, Gloria designed our team logo and mascot Hydro duck and our wiki page head pages.
