During our time at the 2022 iGEM competition, we received technical support from Professor Zhibin Hu, Professor Chuan Su, Professor Xingyin Liu, Professor Li Yuan, Professor Ran Huo, and Professor Mingyan Lin, which included laboratory training and guidance throughout the process. Meanwhile, the State Key Laboratory of Reproductive Medicine and the Basic Medical Sciences School of Nanjing Medical University offered us financial assistance and provided necessary laboratory resources as we progressed with our engineering design cycle.

Our advisors, including Xuanwei Jiang, Qinwen Wang, Shuyu Wang, Chenxi Jin, and Xiaoting Luan, assisted us throughout the season in different aspects. The advisors assisted us as we carried out the experiments and walked us through when we encountered problems. They also shared useful tools to construct plasmids and suggested that we could verify the functions of different fragments on separate plasmids. Meanwhile, they helped us double-check the security of our experiments through supervision.

In this year's competition, our PIs and instructors assisted us in our dry lab work as well. Professor Yuan Li is an associate professor at the Department of Neurobiology at Nanjing Medical University and Professor Mingyan Lin a master's tutor at Nanjing Medical University. They provided professional support for our dry lab work by offering suggestions for model construction and the overall improvement of the framework. They also helped clear up our confusion regarding website building. We appreciate their insightful suggestions at different stages.

Companies and organizations outside the team have also offered us support during the competition. As we organized the art exhibition, we received support from the Rlab and got financial assistance from the Jiangsu Society for Microbiology. In addition, the biotechnological company, Xbiome, gave us suggestions in terms of entrepreneurship and project implementation during the interview, which helped us further modify the project. The children’s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University also showed its support for our efforts in helping autistic people with synthetic biology. Meanwhile, Star of the Sea, the rehabilitation center for autistic children, provided us with a platform to actually get close to children with ASD and their parents as well.
