We created the following parts as part of our project this year. Basic parts include our AMP (HBCM2), the T4GALA encapsulin we used, and the TEV + targeting peptide sequence we used to facilitate AMP encapsulation. Our composite part is our experimental construct that consists of the AMP + targeting peptide + encapsulin. Our AMP and targeting peptide were synthesized by IDT. Our encapsulin was generously donated to us by the Giessen lab as part of a plasmid and isolated using PCR. Our composite part was assembled using Gibson assembly.
