It is not enough to conduct research if the general public doesn’t benefit or understand it. To spread the knowledge about the unconventional yeast Rhodotorula toruloides and the power of crocin, we informed the public through different means.

As we are the very first iGEM team from Latvia, we tried to inform society as much as we could with keeping social media accounts, communicating with society through events and press releases.
